  Broadcasts, Are they just a distraction?

  the recent broad casts about not handing in time sheets, and then about beards, especially the beards, it seems so trivial, are those talks only released in order to distract the followers from the recent court case they lost on spain, from the csa cases, the kh sales and so on?.

  i reckon they're taking their lead from the media, distract and divide tactics..

  Andersoninfo- you should of seen the dirty looks when my wife went to my father's Jw funeral in a Black business suit. My wife stated that the Jw's where cold, fony, and plastic with their dealings with strangers.

  Predictions for the next decade?

  as it’s nearly the new year my prediction over the next decade or so will see the sense of urgency dwindle.

  then some huge huge changes.

  for example by 2034 in a decades time, they will have address the 1914 issue and will come out and say we can’t be dogmatic.

  Nepotism and Simony

  i've read on here about connected families within congregations who seem to get all the "privileges".

  how likely is an elder's son, or other relative, to rise within the ranks?.

  i imagine it's harder to do it that way once you start to ascend the ranks.

  I have seen it, elder BillyBob was the head elder, than his nephew Rickybob was the 2nd elder. Alot of greenhandshakes in between.

  My prediction for the Borg- Will become an online church. Kingdumb halls will be a thing of the past. Elders will still be around but a smaller role. And so with Pioneers. Conventions will be smaller venues. Alot of use of media and AI. Alot of rules they have now will be relaxed.

  what is with the jw cadence when they speak.

  do they think they are teaching people ?

  they sound like pro wrestlers doing promos or shakespearean actors.

  It goes back to what my father and I came up with. The Watchtower wants people who don't think. It took us sometime to figure things out ,this is what they want. People who blindly follow them and give them their money with no questions asked.

  if you once were fully pimi and truly believed jw doctrine to the core like i once did, when you come to the reality that it is not the truth at all it can be extremely devastating.. i think only other ex jws could ever understand.

  i wasted my entire life i thought the real life was yet to come to wasted the best years knocking on doors.

  now i’m so angry.. i can understand why so many top themselves when they realise it was all lies..

  The Saddest Thing About Tony Morris's Removal

  i've mentioned before how i've wondered how tony morris must have felt when he was sacked.

  yes, i know he's a rehensible human being who got served a healthy dose of karma, or, if you like, divine judgement.

  to go from having all there is to have within the world he lived in, to where he is now; that's a long fall.
