  i rarely post here, but i often check in.

  i used to post on h2o as well.

  i think i once posted some of this on h2o, but there are many new ones who have joined since then.. i first encountered jw's at the age of 9. it wasn't in the door-to-door work, however.

  No More having to read Watchtower stuff.

  No more meetings.

  No more convention$.

  No more field service.

  No more Dealing with crazy, nosey, self righteous, gossiping witnesses.

  No more worried about being on egg shells if someone sees you do something. I just don't care.

  or was the organization wrong again about the end times?.

  Longhairgal- Yes, you hit the nail on the head. They are " Rats" coming to us who planned for our future and did something about and didn't listen to Watchtower crap. They should hit up Watchtower.

  More money and meeting with 3 elders

  so, we had this meeting with 3 elders ( larry, moe and curly) my uncle who is the lawyer sat in the room and stayed quiet, and fact for 40 minutes we let them talk.

  we would just sit there.

  they went into along winded monolog about how the world is in bad shape and getting worst.

  No it was not a committee meeting but more of them searching us out sort of speak. For the first 35 minutes or so they did all the talking. I sat at my desk and listened to them, then uncle came in hitting them non stop with questions. Some of those questions they didn't want to answer but we knew the outcome. Real critical thinking questions. They looked like deer in headlights.

  They stay away from me too, I ask too many questions that gets their brains hurting , as one Die Jw put it with my questions I was damaging his faith with my questions. Most of my questions where about Watchtower history.

  Usually when I encounter Jw's with the "End is Sooo Close" I Usually ask " what, No date this time? Then, I start listing predicted dates of when the end should of happened. Then I ask them who are you kidding?

  Parents became Jw's, and then dropped out. Us kids were forced into it by birth. But over time and the Watchtower 's ridiculous Policies we decided this does not work for us.

  there seems to be a difference of opinion between geoffrey jackson and tonny morris on how to deal with their feelings towards worldly people.geoffrey jackson made a point to say in his talk that jesus wept for the wicked in jerusalem but following that bloodthirsty tony morris in his talk wants the demon stirred wicked humanity gone..

  can i ask please especially for all who are pomo?.

  we've taken a decision similar to revelation 18:4 to get out of the watchtower and not share in its sins.. how many of you still believe that god will one day terminate the world's many systems by means of an armageddon?.

  Armageddon? If it comes maybe not in my lifetime. 1975 came and went another wild prediction. I think the Universe will strengthen out in time with or without us. No worries.
