My mother-in-law is buying sheets of stamps 200 at a time plus envelopes and writing paper every month.
She's an 83 year old pensioner. Some charity this is.
going on 2+ years of no public ministry.
can't imagine anyone is really enjoying letter writing still or that it's remotely effective.
i'm a little shocked that we haven't resumed yet but i guess that's what happens when the org is run by a bunch of old people (ie high risk for covid) and a bunch of other sheltered germaphobes.

if you think it works, what is your evidence outside of possible coincidence?.
Judgerussellford: Children are only as innocent as the people raising them.
I'm rushing out of the house now but will respond to this disgraceful comment later

"Prayer is aligning ourselves to His will,"
On so many occasions 'His will' (according to 'His Word') was for innocent children to die.
Why would anyone pray to align themselves with this malevolent being?

As I thought, you don't get it.

JoJo have you even listened to the all the folks who've been bullied by Evans?
Does his shameless (and criminal) exploitation of prostitutes not bother you in a man who claims to represent your community when hypocritically advocating for victims of CSA?
Do you have even a basic grasp of the issues here?
Go to page 1 and start again.

It's worse than simply not working, it can actually cause harm. JW's, Christian Scientists and others would put prayer ahead of medical intervention in some cases.
Not to mention that it perpetuates a mental dialogue with a non existent being, perhaps not so harmful for adults but poison to the innocent mind of a child.
another shooting, this time 14 kids dead more wounded and a teacher dead.
i am all for the second amendment and this does not change my mind.
but i do hate this kind of thing, makes my stomach turn.
"Of all the 5 to 14 year olds shot in the developed world, 90% of them were Americans"
https://bbc.in/3MP8eHz (just before the 35 minute mark)
How Americans choose to protect their young people is up to them.
here in the uk we've recently had the price cap on household energy bills raised by around £800 and there'll be another similar raise this autumn.. food prices are up, petrol is around £1.82 per litre - that's $10.37 per gallon for our american friends - and inflation is currently running at 9%.
business are being hit as ordinary folk prioritise their spending.
young folks are effectively priced out of the housing market and wage rises are not keeping pace.. mrs nic' and i are fortunate in that we're both in secure employment and with the kids moved out and mortgage paid off our outgoings are thankfully low.
The price cap sets a limit on the maximum amount suppliers can charge for each unit of gas and electricity you use, and sets a maximum daily standing charge (what you pay to have your home connected to the grid).
That means there's no upper limit to what you actually pay – if you use more energy, you'll pay more, use less and you'll pay less.
Why would you say price control is the worst response?

We don't splash out on fancy dining but will have the occasional Indian takeaway. We have a caravan which I'll tow anywhere in the UK and I built a garden hideaway with wi-fi, TV, music and a woodburning stove where we burn free wood and briquettes I make from shredded paper.
Basically, we shut down the expensive house and snuggle up in front of the fire like hobo's 😁
So how's it going for you guys?
