We need a vaccine to protect us from weird religious cults.
We have one, it's called rational thinking. Just as with other vaccines though, people think they know better.
you still have to be fully vaccinated to attend any theocratic schools.
elders and ministerial servants have their kingdom ministry school every year, the cobe of every congregation has to check that everyone is fully vaccinated.
after the school everyone will ask any bothers who were not there why not?

helloo guys, anyone who did theyre pioneer school book and still got their notes from it?
please share with me , i need answers asap , pioneer school coming up in 2 weeks thank you!
i need answers from when you were fully pimi.
Welcome to the forum. I guess from your last comment that you're fully aware of where you are but I don't think you're going to have much luck. For one thing, most of us are quite a bit older than the average pioneer school attendee and won't have the notes you're asking for.
More importantly, we'd be encouraging you not to go, to take control of your own life and not to prop up this abusive organisation.
Good luck.

Slimboyfat: LE will never “understand” that his actions disqualify him [from involvement with CSA victims] because he simply cannot tolerate that conclusion.
Exactly. I've no doubt he can see the conclusion but he can't acknowledge it publicly and it's driving him mad that the rest of us keep banging on about it.
It's not going away Lloyd. We're not going anywhere.

What's all this fuss about Lloyds use of abnegate? It's a perfectly cromulent word.
i haven't a clue if it's technically feasible but i think if you're going to hit the dislike button on a post you should be open to discussion with the poster.. just your own topics and posts of course.
what do you think simon?.
Now that you know who I am does that help
Well yes actually. It means I can ask you why you feel that way. Maybe I could clarify something I hadn't explained clearly or perhaps I'd posted something stupid and I could learn from a further discussion.
I didn't think it was such a controversial suggestion. Facebook reactions and Twitter likes are public, it's nothing new. Sure, there's the possibility of poor behaviour as FedUpJW suggests but we're a pretty well behaved bunch for the most part. We're certainly an older demographic.
I don't know, it was just an idea.

i just wonder about this topic as it is now 109 years since that date and what was expected to take place has never happened ..
The Carrot of Paradise. I'm definitely claiming that 😁

1914 is still a core doctrine but there's nothing major about it. There's not one single teaching that really matters or that couldn't be abandoned, this isn't a doctrinally driven faith anymore.
It's a social religion. People stay for as long as they follow the rules. They can leave if they no longer want to follow those rules or be kicked out if they're caught in violation of them (I'm simplifying I know).
1914, blood, perhaps even shunning could be dropped and there would still be a core following.
Perhaps the carrot of Paradise is the one thing that couldn't go
canada has universal healthcare.
the consensus is that america never will.
can anyone explain why, please?
Diogenesister I asked the same question some years ago. The American way really does seem odd to the rest of us.
from what i can see no such thing is happening.i became a jw in 1960 and remained for about 30 years and the numbers of active jw`s today in the world are far greater than they were back then.. and here in australia the numbers are much higher than they were back then .. so i don`t see that their in decline or have any worries about losing support .. don`t the numbers speak for themselves ?.
is it just wishful thinking on your part ?.
I think you could argue that the Watchtower Society HAS died, jw.org is the tombstone on its grave. The religion I grew up in through the late sixties to the new millennium barely exists anymore.
90 hours for regular pioneers, 48 full issues of Watchtower & Awake! per year, PO's, CO's and DO's, midweek book study, in-person meetings only with Bibles in hand instead of iPads.
Door-to-door work instead of stationary passive carts. Magazine routes, S8's and RV's. Detailed (but admittedly insane) study material instead of the stultifying and infantilised cartoon propaganda spewed out now.
Honestly, if the shunning policy could be overturned so that young folks could leave without penalty or stigma I wouldn't care if their membership reached 20 million or more.
