Cart work faces headwinds.
by lastmanstanding inmy little bethel bird has whispered in my ear some encouraging news.
it has been reported to the canadian branch that some witnesses doing cart work had police stop them from carting in public parks.
the direction sent to the southern ontario congregations is to cease carting until further notice.. this is no joke.. have a jw-free day..

he left the jehovah witness community and we have been living together for one year.
he hasn’t kept in contact with his family because he was disfellowshipped and hasn’t gone to any meetings.

Being on the other side of the situation I wouldn't be worried.
I am ex jw, just married a never jw.
I haven't even thought of setting foot in a kh since I left.
But, if I were going to in the first year of our relationship idk if I would have said anything to her either.
It could be embarrsment, he's awake and doesn't want to be there and doesn't want you to think less of him for going. I know I broke in or slowly brought my gf/wife into discussions of the religion and it took longer than a year.
Ask him if he'd like you to come?

i was privately reproved and may be moving to a congregation where there are brothers i rather not know why i was privately reproved.
is the fact i was privately reproved visible but not the reason why?

My Dissociation letter

it was a respectful conversation from one side to the other.
in the end i handed the dissociation letter in hand and a binding to each of the elders, with an article i wrote on the subject, "are jehovah's witnesses a destructive sect?

The next time I see the cart babysitters

do you consider your preaching work to be urgent?.

Happy anniversary.
Mrs Done and i have just celebrated 1 day of marriage! Yup, just got married yesterday. Me an ex jw 40ish years in, she probably spent less than 40 minutes of her life on JW discussion before me. Met at work as we both were going thru divorces. She changed jobs, i changed jobs. She changed jobs again and ended up at my place of employment. And here we are.
