  Special Talks now via video

  tired of listening to your local elders giving the "special" talk ever year after the memorial?

  well don't worry, as of next year we will be spicing things up for your enjoyment.. not only will we be having the talk before the memorial (i know, wild huh), but we will be treating you to the talk via video starring our famous speakers from bethel so you can see how a talk should be given (after all bethel does boast the best speakers in any country, right?!).

  here's a copy of the text from our latest letter as i'm sure that with so much excitement you won't believe it at first!.

  I don't know about the effectiveness of ramping up attendance before the Memorial. Seems like lots of people get there fill of Bible stuff and take a meeting off... like after C.O. visit, Memorial, Assemblies, etc. It has been that way in my area for over five years, didn't used to be like that. Attendance dips lower than normal low.

  If that is their plan, it will backfire. YES!

  We had dismal attendance for the "special" talk this year.

  We haven't heard Memorial attendance for 2017 yet have we? Didn't we usually hear in the summer? At least rumors (oral tradition crap, but we don't do oral tradition, yeah right).

  I don't know what the h~}} they are thinking. Maybe they are giving up on inviting people to the "special talk" and instead telling JWs how to behave for the Memorial?

  fyi:.

  the 2018 memorial will be held on saturday, march 31, 2018.. the 2019 memorial will be held on friday, april 19, 2019..

  Help! Mike & Kim videos all being deleted by Youtube

  due to watchtower flagging the mike & kim videos on youtube for copyright, youtube is giving them 6 days before they are shutting down their entire youtube channel.

  can you help with a mass downloading program and then reuploading them on a mirror ?

  would hate to lose all those good videos!

  This might help you understand the copyright strike issue on youtube:

  Three strikes shuts down a channel, and deleting a video that has a copyright strike does not resolve the issue. On Mike and Kim's latest video they said that four of the eight have been resolved. That leaves two more to keep the channel. Anyway, hope that clears things up a bit.

  I agree with you in a way, because when they load complete wt videos with a little commentary or no commentary it is asking for trouble. People have left comments for Mike and Kim, warning them, but I do not think they get to read all the comments.

  It took awhile to get over Mike always saying "you jehovah witnesses", in such an angry tone. Still is not pleasant to hear.

  I do like them, but sometimes I disagree. At 10:03 ish in the following video they say CT Russell was found to be childish (puerile) compared to the other charlatans of the day (p38 of Apostles of Denial). Actually, the interviewer referred to in the book found the other snake oil salesmen to be puerile, not CT Russell. They looked up the word, but still pronounced it as pearl... sigh. Here it is: we'll see how long...

  The interviewer, W.T. Ellis found him to be the cleverest propagandist of the age. Indeed.

  Sometimes they make a mountain out a molehill, like when a C.O. asks a question that most would not know the answer due to the wt changing it so often. They thought that he was probably on a witch hunt. Actually, the C.O. is just using another form of guilt. (See, you need to study more!!!)

  They do have "their brand of insanity", which may speak to enough Jdubs to be a threat to WT? They've been talking about congregations dissolving lately... whatevs. They have KimMikey2.0 for those interested.

  i was chatting with my very jw pioneer mother (aged 65) and out of the blue she tells me she is sore from a particular pose she did in yoga class.

  Need help with a reference dealing with the Generations and SPLAINE

  when originally explaining the "new generations" splaine used the example of joseph and his brothers.. he backed up the time difference between the original anointed, and the new ones by using what he said was a big age difference between the youngest "joseph" and his oldest brothers.. then more recently in a jw broadcast - he said that there was not a big age difference between joseph and his oldest brother.. can any one help me find both those, please?.

  I've seen how approved bethel caretakers take care of the elderly. It is pitiful. They know nothing, and are unteachable. Hey! that's how they define what... meekness? as teachable?

  i didn't recognise his number , cordial talk for 2 minutes then what can i say , the chook rose to the occasion.

  i will relay main points but the order is not necessarily correct.

  he wants to visit with an other elder ( i live in two states 2/3 of time in a new house in their territory, but they don't know address yet ).
