i would like to sight some examples of a anal retentiveness of the biblical deity.. the garden of eden and the death penalty for eating a fruit, which by the way was passed on to all future offspring requiring an anal retentive jehovah to provide a suitable sacrifice of his only begotten son to correct the situation and thus make it possible for forgiveness from the big guy and remove the death curse.. working on a saturday= death penalty.
mandatory blue thread and fringes on all israelite garments.. death penalty for touching the ark of the covenant to prevent it from tipping over.. exclusive devotion only to be given to him, bowing to other gods/idols forbidden.. grows hot with anger and becomes violently enraged killing off all kinds of human and animal life with a flood when humans not living the way he feels is right.. threatening to tread on mankind like a mighty man crushing grapes under his feet when pissed off.. loss of self control when pissed off over insignificant trifles.

WTBTS – assistance following an incident at bethel
by Tallon ini haven’t posted for quite a while as i needed a break – although i have been lurking.. can anyone confirm if the wtbts give assistance to someone who has been involved in an incident whilst working at bethel and, as a result, must leave?.
the reason i’m asking is that, back in the 80’s, i knew a sister who was in bethel service.
she was assigned to the cleaning department.

I heard of someone getting repetitive injury syndrome or something like that from working in laundry. The person asked to get a different job and WTBS said no. WT did nothing, not even relieve them by letting them do a different job. They made the person keep doing the same repetitive task that gave them the problem. They went home eventually with no help from WT.
Damn them.

However, this belated action by the Society arrived too late to prevent multiple mirror videos from being produced, many of which were edited to music. The video even featured on the Comedy Central show The Burn with Jeff Ross. The whole episode showed thousands of people how ludicrous and outlandish Witness beliefs really are.
Gilbert Gonzolas of JWcrisis on youtube regularly uses it as a fake ASL interpretation of his video, which is funny I think. So check him out to see it in the corner. I do not know where else it is, but good luck hunting.

Some good news:
We used to enjoy watching the soup, so it came naturally to watch the new show.
So, I watched with PIMI spouse, and he thought they got the video from broadcasting. He thought it was "cute". (OMG I know) Last night while he was pre-indoctrinating himself for the watchtower study, I glanced at his computer screen. I saw a google search with pillowgate trailer being third or forth, and under that jw.borg something (wanted to let him continue to browse, so I glanced away too fast to catch what that next search result was, but it looked like an exjw video). He noticed my glance and put his hands up a bit to cover it...
Yes!!! Thanks Joel McHale!!! I hope we supply more comedy fodder that meets with your standards!!!
I was so excited, but hid my glee from my husband. Maybe he'll tell me "Hey, that video was leaked!"

watchtower 15/10/15 p.3 states that helpers are of the great crowd.

Hopefully one of the leakers in Bethel will let us know. There seem to be more everyday!
This makes me think about how much the writing department must have shrunk lately, hence less "helpers" to pick from. They probably have another testing ground to get helpers from... or not, sometimes they are terrible planners!

The book burning has started
by pale.emperor indon't know if this is a global thing but i've just been told by a pimo member of my old congregation that a min servant has been given the task of destroying all old books/literature in the kh library prior to 1992.. could be the elders (or even one of them) on a mission to stamp out dissent as my ex-wife used the same reasoning to her elder dad that i used in my jc: rutherfords books containing failed predictions.. anyone else heared anything?.
the ms who's been given the task is a company man.
no hope of him keeping them or selling them on ebay.. they have some russell books in that library too.

When he gives talks about women having a smaller cranium, thus showing they need to be controlled by men.
That is how it works. Oh, we can't prejudge blacks? How 'bout gays, women, etc? Then we can bond on that hatred together with our new colored friends.
Edit to say: Also, they probably had some feelers out before he was invited to the GB saying we need a black man or people are leaving!

a question after my first JW meeting
by bleak ini attended my first jw meeting recently.
first, i would like to say what i agree with about the jehovah's witnesses beliefs and practices.. 1. they don't consider israeli's as "god's chosen people" and they don't worship israel as some holy land filled with righteous jews (although there are some there) as most so-called "christians" (christian zionists) erroneously believe they are instead of the "hypocrites" and "vipers" that it is actually filled with.. 2. they don't celebrate "holidays" like easter and christmas which are, in fact, remnants of earlier pagan practices.. 3. they don't put nation before god and christ.
they don't believe in war or going to war because of some crazy government/cia secret agenda.

As is often said on this site: Let's review: It's a cult. Good luck in life bleak. I would suggest researching cults to make sure another doesn't try to recruit you, and get some therapy to see why you were vulnerable to the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Edit to say: The reason suits are required is to make you different, a cult tactic. The bible only talks about modesty, but when they talk about 'dress and grooming' they bring up scriptures on modesty to enforce the dress code that goes waaay beyond modesty.
