Moving Back to Chicago - Don't care

my wife was diagnosed with ms about two years ago.

we have been living in ohio for the last 5 years but were recently assigned to a new congregation because of the dissolving and sale of our congregation/kh.

my wife's symptoms spiked after being relocated to our new hall back in january.

i think my last post i said i went to a new congregation,i'm going to just talk about some of the shit i have seen in my congregation.. there was a kid trying to talk to a adult next to him i think it was his dad,the kid just started taping him because he wanted to tell him something and the dad gets mad then boom the kid gets elbowed.i look around to see if anyone saw him do that to his kid and nope or they didn't want to say anything about it and just like wtf.. in my old congregation,the younger kids would do random stuff in the middle of the meeting to not get board.

when the mom or dad got mad i would see then get dragged to the back of the kingdom hall and hear them start crying.when i was still mentally in i just didnt think about it at all when it would happen but when i woke up im just like thats fucked up..

sunday my old bethel roommate came up to visit me.

he left a couple years ago and he wanted to catch up and reminisce.. while we sat back remembering crazy things we saw take place at bethel he reminded me of a creepy instance with bro.

I think when we reminisce we can get back into the mindset we had at the time, i.e. being 19. Silent could have been thinking about the situation from a non-indoctrinated 19 year old point of view, but still 19. Also, drag comedy is seen a lot in society, and we are sort of indoctrinated to laugh at it. ???

I didn't suggest that. I KNOW that would have been a bad move. I was not saying what you should have done, just commenting on Bethel's lack of professionalism when it comes to the elderly, actually no professionalism. They might have thrown you out if you said he had dementia? I wouldn't doubt it.

They have no idea how to take care of the elderly, and here is one story to prove it. I have another, but that's another story. There had to be many other instances of utter craziness from ole Lyman before this; would anyone help him not embarrass himself? No. They let this 'Christ's brother' do all this crazy shit. He was most likely headstrong, eh? Stiff necked some would say? Bethel is wrong on so many levels. In another area of JWdom an elderly sister with all her shit together is being controlled in every little thing, with her son taking over her finances... You can bet on it.

Silentbudda, I hear ya, looking back there are so many red flags. We were just indoctrinated not to notice them and of course forgive, forgive, forgive, etc.
