July's watchtower leaves out some important info from a quote!
by stavro injerome over on discuss the truth has picked up on something interesting.. in the july watchtower on page 28 of the article entitled “winning the battle for your mind” the following statement is made “keep in mind that satan does not want you to think clearly or reason things out well.
because propaganda is likely to be most effective, says one source, if people… are discouraged from thinking critically.”.
the quote comes from a book entitled: “media and society in the twentieth century: a historical introduction by lyn gorman, david mclean" the watchtower however, chose to leave out a portion of the quote.. the full quote is "therefore, it is likely to be most effective if people do not have access to multiple sources of information and if they are discouraged from thinking critically.. the following sentence which the watchtower also decided was best not to include states,.

A plural of sources is exactly what Watchtower itself discourages.

JW's are the definition of Whitewashed graves. Sadly they are too busy restricting individuality, making cardboard disciples.
They miss the weightier things, child abuse scandal, abusive shunning policy, and child baptism. This cult is going down in flames.
Same old regurgitated garbage over and over and over again. I swear they just reprint these articles every year and the witlessss just keep studying them at their meetings. They are just doing whatever it takes to waste more of their precious time.
Even this letter campaign is just another way to spend time doing something that will have no effect. Ask any witless and they don't even know the real reason for the ban or why Watchtard is so interested in Russia. It's all about the properties. Money money money.

You add to their numbers by being in attendance. Eat and drink at home. Don't commemorate that satanic ritual.

Memorial Non-Attendance: The Single Most Impactful TTATT Witness to JW Friends & Family
by AMNESIANO in(original version posted 2014).
notice: the following is submitted in full recognition of and with compassion and due respect for those who, due to personal circumstance, feel they are unable to employ this powerful strategy.. ---.
anyone who has awakened to ttatt and has conscientiously left the organization--especially a once-prominent, highly-regarded, studious true-believer from a celebrated multi-generational tribe of jws-- after decades of devout, high-profile "serve-us," who continues to put in an annual appearance at the memorial thoroughly subverts and undermines, by this one act, any hope s/he may entertain that his/her departure will stir family or former friends to question the whole watchtower bamboozle.

Well said. This will be our first time not attending the memorial. I often wanted to go and cause a stir but doing so is only self-serving. It won't change people's minds to how ridiculous the whole thing is and it only feeds the persecution complex.
I used to love seeing people make a stir at the yearly memorial on YouTube, but now they are just fools. Why waste a perfectly good night? Say goodbye to "the most boring night of the year!!" It shant be missed.

Reasons to break free from religion
by googleTTATT ini am compiling my list.
you can add yours if you like to.. 1. the hypocrisy in religion.. 2. religion make good people bad and bad people worse and worse people worst.. 3. the false dates given in religion.. 4. religions use their fundamental books to suit their beliefs.. 5. wrong and distorted views about sexual life.
the list goes on.

Sure many bad things have been done in the name of religion AND it can impede free thought but some religion and religious people do good for our communities. Many volunteer their time and energy to help the poor and needy, put on drives to help sick kids, and get people together to discuss common problems such as chronic illness and loss.
Personally I've met both good people who were religious and non religious. It's all the same but clumping all religion into the same mold just isn't true.

Not all religion is bad. We have friends of many faiths and there are some genuinely great people who are religious.

What We Truly Deserve Is...Death, Really WT?
by JW_Rogue ini have seen this statement or similar ones popping up in the study edition of the wt lately.
whenever they talk about undeserved kindness or jesus ransom they add this little gem to get the point across.
this is sick, why do they feel the need to tear down people's self esteem?
-
Darkknight757
I not so fondly remember older brothers and sisters making such statements during the meetings. What did we personally do to "deserve" death? Did we kill someone? No! Did we rob a bank? No! Did we steal from an old ladies purse? No!
I can never understand someone feeling such contempt for their lives. Life is precious. These people hate living.
I made this observation in the past but it's worth mentioning again: I know a couple who have a beautiful home by the lake. They are both very successful and are die-hard JW's. I stopped by on a beutiful sunny day to check out a garage sale they were having. I asked the wife how she was doing? She said, "Just trying to make it another day......" Its like really?!! Life is that bad???!!!
Anyways they also feel they deserve death and that's too bad. What a waste of a good life.🙄
