Dear brothers: (not sisters, they don't count)
We still have the truth. Loads are coming in. Armageddon is very close. Lots of studies. Carts are posting fine results. Many new Kingdom Halls are needed. God is love.
Your brothers,
The GB.

apparently going to the kingdom hall and getting out in the door to door ministry is the best way to get over the loss of a loved one.
who'dve thunk it?.

Service works great. All those pioneer sisters we did shepherding calls on certainty thought so. (As they sat there crying because they couldn't figure out why they were so depressed)
They would go in service on the day of a parents/sibling funeral to show how faithful they were. It's absolutely criminal how the organization brainwashes a person into believing that peddling trash paper in some way dispels grief.
just wanted to say hello and thank you for all of your comments.
when i finally figured out this was not the truth it was nice to know i wasn't the only one - it was a surprise to learn how many there are.
february was my last month of service after 43 active years.
Loved reading your story! "Worldly" people are not what the Watchtower says. We also have met many fantastic people outside the org since we left a year ago.
Recently some who have shunned us have tried to reconnect but we know who they are and what they still represent. It's just not worth it.
Keep us posted on your progress please!
maybe it's complete in light of this sundays wt study...βwhat you vow, payβ.
it is all about paying your vows and especially focuses on three types.. 1 your dedication vow (baptism).
2 your marriage vow.
Great point! Of course the r&f are that stupid though.
i bring up this subject because of all the restrictions children have to endure in the jw cult.
they are made prisoners of mind and body.
being forced to do things that are not natural for children to do.
It's true for many of the JW children, they miss out on a lot growing up in such a strict household. Holidays and being with their extended, non Witness family is very unfortunate. But many of the young people seemed to do a good job leading a double life at the hall I attended before walking away. So I'm not sure they missed out on much when it comes to sex and drugs. I was only an elder for a little over a year but I became very critical of the teenagers at the hall. It seemed that most were doing "bad things" that makes their deity sad.
Made for many a late night after meetings.π

"Don't Give Up" LOL every time!!πππ
I keep thinking it's a joke but it's not.
Either way the step by step instruction as commented on by others is ridiculous. They are specifically told how to watch the music videos, where and when to sit. It gives a new meaning to "whitewashed graves". They are all about appearance.
i pretty much did it all.
vacation pioneered as a youngster and became a regular pioneer out of school.
i became a ms then an elder.....the organization pushes you to be somebody within the confines of their realm.
Auxiliary Pioneering on and off after graduation. MS for a few years then almost fell away.
Then came back strong. Became an MS again after years of hard work, then Elder for about two years. Woke up. Left. Took wife along for the ride after being stood up for dinner by some "friends." Never have regretted a moment since. This IS the best life ever...... not being a j-dumb.
we all know the jw doctrine of life and resurrection on earth after armageddon.
this video inadvertently explores the flaws in the doctrine.
https://youtu.be/l-s34gz3xwg.
One of the elders at my old hall rationalize the flood of people coming out of the resurrection with space travel. He even figured Jehovah would create another planet earth to aid in the population explosion. Silly.
assuming anyone cares :-).

they are releasing another bible story book targeted at kids.. sheesh!
God, imagine the smell emanating from Noah's Ark. π€’

Couldn't get past the "Have you already been to the convention?" question. π
Looking at the Bible story book I was mildly impressed that they removed all the nightmare inducing graphic imagery that is prominent in other children's books published by them.
