I'm just wondering if the Theocratic Warfare doctrine is anywhere in writing or if it's a word-of-mouth kind of thing where it's mentioned at Elder's school, but not put in writing.

What I can't get over is how people could sit there and listen to that without walking out. I think I would have gotten up out of disgust and looked at the guy with a look of contempt and walked out.
is the recording legal ), what is the position about making it public ?
It sounds from the recording as if this is a public talk or talk at one of the meetings. In that case, the recording is 100% legal.

i never thought for one moment that it would survive this long or have so many people post so many great subjects over the years.. it is still humbling when i get pm's or emails from people expressing how the site has helped them and of course thanks goes to all the posters who have shared their experiences and make helpful and supportive comments to others who are in the sometimes difficult process of learning the real truth about 'the truth'.. the site has gone through several different incarnations over the last 15 years running on different platforms, different databases and different hosts but we've been able to keep all the old topics.
the current site is still being developed and i'm hoping to push another major upgrade soon.. i also may have some other news to share soon about the future of the site so stay posted.. until then, here's the the next 15 years!

So, what username has your wife chosen for our great forum??
She hasn't joined yet. I'm going through some of the past posts looking for ones that I think will relate to her.
I did tell her, though, that this forum is very therapeutic for the mix of emotions she's feeling right now.
Pretty sure she's lurking now. She told me she had been lurking on the exJW subreddit. I explained to her that this forum was pretty different. -

Do the two of you plan to fade?
Yes we do. We are both 3rd Generation JW, so family issues are a factor. We don't have an exact plan of action yet, but that is the ultimate goal. We absolutely DO NOT want our kids to be in this cult.
Good conversations this past week while having some alone time.
She's in the grieving and angry (at WT) phase right now, but is 100% mentally out.

Oh and she is also 100% aware of how apostate I am now. And she's okay with it.
I have to admit that this big guy cried a little when I spilled all of my feelings and she didn't bat an eye and said she was sticking with me.
I know how lucky I am. I hope for every dude out there waiting for his wife to wake up gets to someday experience this feeling.
P.S. If it weren't for cognitive therapy, I may never have opened up to her like I did. I'll always be grateful to my therapist for that.
