Also, 8/8 works for those of our fellow apostates across the pond... If we chose August 9th, then in the US it'd be 8/9 and over there it'd be 9/8...it would be confusing.

You're forgetting the Study edition of the Watchtower. There's still one of those every month. So it's really 48 pages of content per month.

this term came to mind as i thought of just how weird it is that witnesses actually look forward to seeing billions of people killed..... also, at how strange it is that the org has repeatedly tried to work out the date or time for it to happen.

(although they will deny doing this ...but the old publications and talks etc are there on record!

Cedars leaked letter requested to be taken down by WTBTS

i don't know if this is already posted so sorry people if it is.

cedars site has had a request to take down the leaked letter regarding changes to the theocratic ministry school and other issues.. the reason given by wt is that it is a "copyright" issue.

of course this validates the letters authenticity even more.. have a good day or night people.

DMCA is a courtesy notice instead of a lawsuit; It is like a cease and desist notice. I suppose that if a party claims they are injured because of what they believe is copyright infringement, they can a sue for damages. At the very least, it costs money to defend. If a party publishes private documents or copyrighted material, there is a risk of being sued. WT does not work like that, generally, because they usually are dealing with (df) JW, and WT ususally defends against (df)JW but does not want to initiate legal action against a JW, but they could if they wanted to. Other religious orders are very orthodox and they will come after anyone that violates their privacy. They will get you, and that is why nobody fools around with them. And when they do, they have been known to pay.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that by law, you MUST send a DMCA notice prior to initiating a lawsuit.
