Islam is the Epitome of Misogyny
by cofty inin this video the popular saudi cleric sheik yahya al-jana discusses the joys of paradise, saying that men will have the strength of a hundred men in paradise and will be busy tearing hymens, while the virgins of paradise, whose breasts are like pomegranates, become virgins every time again.. the cleric also explains it is mostly men who enter paradise noting that women in general are bad because they refuse to wear the veil, they wear tight clothes in shopping malls, put on perfume and jewelry, and use filthy social media platforms.
source.... this is what young men from conservative muslim families are raised on.
is it any wonder islamic countries treat women appallingly?.

Muslims who agree with this need the gas chamber. It may not be a popular position, but that's how I feel. Unabashedly. -

"The likelihood of Hitler being able to accomplish his goals would have been greatly diminished if the people had been armed"
by nicolaou inpresidential hopeful ben carson of course.
this isn't another gun control debate, i just thought it might be fun to have a topic where we can dump all the hysterical quotes from the candidates.. it's a deep and plentiful mine folks!

The fact remains that he disarmed the Jews prior to his trying to exterminate them. I don't know if them being armed would have actually made a difference, but he disarmed them for a reason. -

Which current GB members are part of the "overlapping generation"?
by Splash inthoughts triggered from a comment cappytan made on a different thread:.
cappytan the newest guy in the gang, mark sanderson, is no exception [to being a gb helper at some point].
- w2013 7/15 p.26 a new member of the governing body"in september 2010, [mark sanderson] was invited to return to the united states, where he served as a helper to the service committee of the governing body.".

THE WATCHTOWER (STUDY EDITION) JANUARY 2016
by wifibandit inpdf .
this issue contains the study articles for february 29 to april 3, 2016.. what about the number of those partaking at the memorial?12, 13. why should we not worry about the number of those who eat the bread and drink the wine at the memorial?12 in recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of those partaking at the memorial of christs death.
that trend contrasts with the decrease in the number of partakers that we saw for many decades.

Some Baba ganoush or hummus would go great with the unleavened bread. I wonder what'd they do if you pulled out a tub of hummus to eat with their matzoh. -

WT opinion about anointed Christians
by Gorbatchov injesus said "look to the fruits" of real christians.. it is unbelievable that the wt says that new anointed christians are merely false.
how can humans decide who is anointed and who's not?.
how can the watchtower society say these unchristian statements?

According to this guy on Reddit, some of the GB members fall into that category of being annointed on demand.
With all the talk about the anointing lately, let's refresh our memory about how anointing works in the organization.
Those who serve on the Governing Body are anointed.
Those who serve as Helpers to the Governing Body, are by definition not anointed.
Gerrit Lösch served as a helper before being appointed to the Governing Body in 1994.
Anthony Morris III and Geoffrey Jackson both served as helpers before being appointed to the Governing Body in 2005.
Samuel Herd, Stephen Lett, David Splane and the late Guy Pierce all served as helpers before being appointed to the Governing Body in 1999.
The newest guy in the gang, Mark Sanderson, is no exception.
As we discuss the specifics of Holy Spirit mechanics, let us not forget that it operates in mysterious, but bureaucratically convenient, ways.

Mad Irishman:
What happens to people who decide to leave the "Catholic Church, the Born Agains, Southern Baptists, etc., etc." is completely different than if you try to leave the JW's.
Their extreme control over members and how they treat former members is what makes them a cult.

Poor kid. I was him once.
Hey Richie: not all on here are disfellowshipped. I am the son of an elder, served at Patterson bethel for a time. I am not disfellowshipped or disassociated. I have simply stopped going to the meetings. The only way I could keep family talking to us is by moving more than 1,000 miles away and pretending to be a JW when they call.

Richard C B: What would happen to you if you decided being a JW wasn't the path for you? Would you be able to leave with all your familial relationships and friendships intact?
Here's an example of how the religion of my birth is a cult: "All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not." - Nov. 15, 2013 Watchtower
The only difference between Jim Jones and the Governing Body is that Jim Jones wanted people to drink the kool-aid and die, whereas the Governing Body wants you to refuse a blood transfusion and die.
