finally after five years i have finally shut the door very firmly on the witnesses.
i have had this "sister" calling for over the last six months clearly trying to reactivate me,but never mentioning the reason why me and my family left the forfar congregation two years ago.
it was always any subject but the " elephant in the room" well today was the finale.
Excellent. I can't wait for that day to someday come for me and my family.
if they are this happy, why do they keep taking down this video?

And I'm also quite convinced they never intended for mere worldlies to ever view it.
...much less so-called apostates.
i decided to update my avatar.. since the society says that disagreeing or speaking against the governing body is like korah challenging moses, i decided korah would be a fitting avatar!.
what do you think?.
by the way, if you didn't realize this was korah or don't know where this came from, it's from one of the new "comic book" bible stories..
Wow!! How do they get such likeness to the original characters? At least that's how the answers being given at a Watchtower study make it sound.
They talk about the "artwork" as if they were commenting on photographs of actual events!!!
"Just look at the picture. You can just see the look of contempt and jealousy on Korah's face. You can see what he was thinking! What a loving provision from Jehovah that the Faithful Slave has provided this wonderful artwork created with Holy Spirit Art Supplies!"

Simon: haha! Yeah. Maybe it's too intense. When I crack a joke or attempt sarcasm, people might think I'm really angry and serious.
Perhaps it makes me look Mentally Diseased.

couting time and, how to count time while doing as little service as possible is often a hot topic around witnesses.
i even overheard pioneers discussing about it.
they call it "creative time counting" (i translated that phrase from a different language so bear with me ;-).
Travel time doesn't count according to official JW rules.
It counts if I say it counts. I kid, I kid.
But seriously....what momma don't know, won't hurt her.

I'm Sorry, I'm not trying to be an apologist, but travel counts. It's time you're spending doing something when you could be elsewhere watching TV, reading a book or something else not service related.
