This ain't your grandaddy's Governing Body!
Dubs have been saying this a lot lately in my area.
I haven't said this yet, but all I can think is, "Yeah, I wonder if that's what Xtians were thinking after the apostles died back in the day."

4. Watching 12 year olds getting baptized
3. 2-4 day assemblies
2. Field Service
1. Watching young children getting disfellowshipped.
I did both, but couldn't cut it. So I dropped out of one.

i just wanna know why...after a thousand dang years, jehovah would even want to think about lettin go of the dude who started it all....satan.
why?..
like a thousand years is a long time, and people are supposed to be gettin perfect n stuff during this time, and the earth is supposed to be gettin all perfectionized.... so satan can f- - - it all up again?.
the first step to fading is to begin missing the meetings.. "if" anyone misses you, a quality excuse must be at the ready.
this will produce empathy toward you as opposed to suspicion.. 1. car problems ( don't mention that you caused them ).
2. stuck on the phone resolving insurance, billing, etc issues.. 3. sick ( of the meetings ).
wife ended up sick this evening.
so i'm by myself because i have talk #3 and i didn't know she would be sick.
buzzing on 4 beers and 1 bourbon and coke.
My kids are too young right now. 4 & 6.

) they did not make it easy, plus technical difficulties.. for the main attraction:.
red cross had a blood drive near me, i decided to go give blood.
i hydrated well, ate some red meat for the iron last night and at lunch, we and gave a pint of blood.
i felt mildly embarrassed, i had no idea what my blood type was.
Whether I believe the blood doctrine or not, I'm never donating blood.
I have a severe phobia of needles. Like really bad. I passed out the last time I had a test.
reading another thread made me realise that there are numerous expressions used as everyday witness terminology, that is not in the bible.... such as:.
governing body.
paradise earth.
I've heard folks refer to the "Faithful Indiscreet Slave."
made me LOL at one meeting and no one else got it.
