morpheus when are you going to join the cult of Dionysus with me and cappy? - FMF
If he doesn't join soon, I vote for beheading of the Thor-worshipping infidel.
i have not meet all atheists, and it would be foolish for me to assume that all atheists, share the same prototypical view points.
i am inclined to feel that this classifies the views of a large percentage of atheists.
"atheism is, in a broad sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of deities.

Laphroaig Quarter Cask...the best $60 you'll ever spend in the Liquor store.
All hail the one true god, Dionysus.

I'm more of a "very expensive Scotch" kind of gal. Is there a god for that?
Actually, Dionysus it known today as the god of wine, however previously, he was known generally as the God of intoxication. So, I think that would qualify for a "very expensive Scotch" kind of gal.

Interestingly, the title of this thread can use all the same characters, yet convey a message I also agree with.
Labeling one self a "theist" is Unscientific.
last week we had the cos visit and i wanted to share my experiences with you.
some background info on me, i knowttatt and am fully awake, my wife also knows my doubts and read a few things on the internet but she is still 100% commited to the truth, saying everything on the apostate sites are lies.
so right now i am in just to keep the status quo.
This is a really great experience. Thanks for sharing!
As an undercover fader, here is my paranoid speculation (emphasis on the paranoid): they knew you know TTATT and were seeing if you would say anything incriminating.
This is how I feel all the time as an undercover apostate. I always feel like the elder boogeyman is lurking around the next corner or dissecting everything I say to find "evidence" or a "second witness" to my apostasy.

I don't want to turn this into another God bashing thread, so I will just share what my experience was in losing faith.
Occam's Razor. I thought about how repeatedly we cited the complexity of life and that the only explanation could be a creator. Sounds like a simple explanation. Except that in order to create something so complex, the creator would have to be even more complex, by a factor of millions or billions.
I then realized that a creator wasn't truly a simple explanation.

The problem isn't a lack of evidence full stop.
The problem is a lack of evidence where there should be evidence.
Do you agree that there is a difference between those two statements?
