  Thinking about taking a break

  i'm thinking about taking a break from this place for awhile.. one of the reasons i came here was because of the way jws have been so mean to me.

  i don't like to see people be mean to each other.. lately i have been seeing people i care about being very mean to each other and me.

  i just can't handle that.. please don't be mean.

  Hi Elsewhere-

  This is the first time we've 'talked', but I think I know what you mean. The first time I started logging on here I was a bit shocked by some personal (not religion oriented) wars going on. Not cool. Not mature. I thought we have all gone through enough to get here, why do some fight? Not long ago, many of us were crushed under a structure of falsehood. Some didn't make it out alive. Why should the survivors fight each other? Isn't there a greater evil out there? Anyway, I think lot of people don't apreciate this place. Mabey they spend so much time here they take it for granted. What if it folded up? What if you were isolated again? I bet you'd give anything to have contact with your worst enemy on this board again. My thoughts.

  Does anybody else deal with this kind of situation?

  My current partner of 2 years is very cute, sexy, and exotic. Great, right? Except that we're becoming social recluses. Almost everytime we go out, someone hits on her. Even with friends, they can't help but ogle. The effect is that I don't really have the desire to go out anymore. I don't even feel like getting together with some friends. Any thoughts? -J

  its also been very challenging, with many temptations to cheat or give up.

  I agree. I'll regret not trying. If there is any shunning or like nonsense, it'll be their doing. They'll have to accept personal choice/responsibility at some point. i'll try to remain adaptable. I'm looking at doing this next month when I have a break. Thanx- J
