I agree. I'll regret not trying. If there is any shunning or like nonsense, it'll be their doing. They'll have to accept personal choice/responsibility at some point. i'll try to remain adaptable. I'm looking at doing this next month when I have a break. Thanx- J

it looks like we might really be going to war (they voted against us) iraq is getting an antidote for nerve gas (sounds like they are preparing) i fear that israel will drop a bomb on them.if this happens all hell will break loose.

does anyone know if they will start drafting?

Anybody know what happened to this site? I saw it around August, and then it dissapeared. Author claimed to be an X-WT illustrator. Very raw, intense, real display about the WTS. Was it censored? Any info is appreciated. -J

it has been brought to my attention that charles russell had ties to the masonic lodge, and was involved with other forms of spiritistic practices, other than just the "pyramid" thing.

I feel like Im climbing a mountain. The experience has been full of beauty, awe, and life. Its also been very challenging, with many temptations to cheat or give up. But Ive remained true to myself and what Ive been taught. Like any journey, theres no guarantee Ill make it. But I know I will. Along the way Ive had a strong desire to plant flags as markers. These could serve as beacons for others trying to make it as far as I. And they could help me to symbolize where and who I am. But I have held back on most opportunities to plant flags, choosing to push on instead.
Recently Ive analyzing my feelings. About further confronting my Witness family. I want to show them everything Ive seen on this board in the last 6 months. I want to tell them about all the things Ive learned since leaving the Watchtower. Not just facts, but to walk them through my learning process, before I cant relate to them anymore. This loosing touch could happen due to time apart, or from me forgetting what its like to be in their shoes. Its been puzzling, because Ive wrestled with the advice of friends to let it go and not try. The simplicity of that course of action is tempting, and would undoubtedly free up my energy for my own self-improvement. But letting go doesnt seem ethical (or perhaps that simple).
The facts are that I may not get the chance to show them my trail unless I make some clear markers. This could also help me to clarify my identity.
Any thoughts? Similar feelings? -J
