i've got a 6 years old brother who recently expressed his concerns about my spirituality.

he said that he had a dream about me being dead (i am at college, far away from my parents).

he also told my parents that he was afraid i would no longer be a jw and in that case he wouldn't hug me again anymore; and that he was crying and felt very sad.. my dad called me today and told me all this and more.

My dad called me today and told me all this and more. He made sure to use a that "my son, please come back to jehovah" voice tone. My brother asked him why I left home and their reply: He (I) wants to earn much money.

I know him, he just loves me very much, but sadly the indoctrination process has already started and is doing a very good job; he is just 6 for the love of god. This is the most evil thing I've encountered so far that was done to me. My grandma is really just a noobie in comparison with them.

it seems like lots of people have big dreams of 'destroying the watchtower'.

it's usually linked to a story of how they were wronged and want some revenge.

do these 'in your face' attempts to convince people that the truth isn't the truth really have an effect?.

I had my own "let's make this org dissappear from history" post. I didn't give up my plans, just have got more important things to do. But i would happily help if anyone is starting a big project

Anyone else fake it?

when i got baptized in 1972 (13 years old) it was under the "lamp" book.. .

when asked the 2 questions standing up, i did not say "yes!

" i got immersed, but never dedicated my life to jehovah.. (not in prayer, not vocally hated the way i was imposed on i was a kid for christ's sake!).

My friend once told me his wife has been faking it since their first time. They've been married for 3 years now.

Ok, seriusly now. I didn't. I said it loud. My grandma called me today, it was just her weekly routine to make sure his lovely grandchild loves the Big Blue Sky, beacause "we were the one who chosed Jehovah, we said here we are to do your will".

How can they think that a 14 years old will make a decision that he will not regret years later? So evil, so insane

the videos on jw.org are nauseatingly corporate and propagandistic.. the smiling blondes that are showcased - the big executives sitting at their thrones (authoritative.

desks).

the workers clad in their orange safety uniforms like so many worker bees in a hive.. the word "love" used over and over again.

I wonder how many people left the org or at least learned the truth about the truth from this community. It was a pleasure to read the story. Only one question is left: Which username belongs to Ang?

Hello History. I am leaving now my fingerprint on this thread.
