My famly and I walked out many yrs ago, but posting on here and reading everyone's posts has proved more valuable than the meetings we all attended. It takes time for all of us when we know that the rug has been pulled out from under us, we heal in time because we need to and because we want to. this is my first try at posting on a discussion board, though i have been lurking here and at a few others on the same subject for a few weeks now.
about 4 weeks ago i took the plunge and decided to see just what all the mystery and danger of reading "apostate" material was all about.

Does the GB report time?
by nojw86 injust thought about all field service etc.
does the gb count time, and if they have a specific amount for the month, and if they should fall and not make their quota do the elders make a spiritual return visit on them?
since the corporate change does anyone know what they are doing ?

Was Eve Deceived?

persons that believe adam and eve were placed in the garden the very same 24 hour day are wrong.
even the society after the 1975 failure, only then did they act upon the fact that eve was placed in the garden sometime after adam.

Where do they sit in your hall?
by ns7 inwhat i find bemusing is, if there are any disfellowshipped ones in your hall they have to sit at the back.
now without getting into the merits/rights/wrongs of whether this should be still acceptable, where do they sit in your hall?
you see i seem to remember that they would sit on the back row, come in quietly just after the song and prayer and leave at the end just as quick.
