Just wanted know if anyone has info on their bloodcard, is there a new one. Did"t they just get a new one some yrs back. I know our family kept ours for yrs, hoping we NEVER had to use it> what a terrible card to carry ....a killing card........regards NOJW

Woe to you..........
by bigboi inthis is not meant to be a blanket condemnation of all jw's.
i thought the title would grab ppl's attention as well as bring light to a fact that may explain stillin's blatantly arrogant post yesterday.. in it he implies that all former jw's must have left the org due to some wrong doing on their part.
he basically implied that everyone who posts here is immoral and the fruits of their actions has turned them into bitter opposers of the org that 'is closer to the bible than any other'.. to me his post is a prime example of the pharasaical attitude that pervades the jw organization.

Well my point is why does he still call it the TRUTH. Truth does not change........He is in good standing well that could overnight for him/her/elder.......The truth about what.......how many changes you can make......nojw ( little lulu says all JW are a little lulu)

Where do they sit in your hall?
by ns7 inwhat i find bemusing is, if there are any disfellowshipped ones in your hall they have to sit at the back.
now without getting into the merits/rights/wrongs of whether this should be still acceptable, where do they sit in your hall?
you see i seem to remember that they would sit on the back row, come in quietly just after the song and prayer and leave at the end just as quick.

Dress, Grooming, freedom...
by Esmeralda ini was just sitting here thinking about the restorative yoga poses that i'll be doing later to .
help with my stiff muscles, and realized what a joy it is that i have the freedom to do them now.. if i was still a jw, i wouldn't.. i'm not an extreme person.
but i do enjoy the immense freedom that i have now when it comes.

But my daughter has taken me to support groups...glad she never was a Baptised JW because ...well you know ...need I say more. Hi Esmeralda, so glad you brought that up, because that was of my ? that I asked an elder of course that was a no no. Are you not happy camper now, wow we can do yoga, that was a gray area... HA > I also loved the sound of wind chimes blowing in the wind very calming to me that was also a gray area, I again asked a incense, hate to be bitten by bugs,gray area. Heck I even go to the YMCA for cancer support for myself,where was that in the borg, yes these freedoms we now are priceless, just to name a few...........nojw

come now, i know the amount of people who "realized that wt doctrine was in serious error" and politely handed in their letter of resignation has to be very small.
the level of bitterness and hostility towards the closest-to-what's-biblical organization has to develop some other way.. what did you do?

HI Mr Magoo, that is hard to say how long will the tower of babel, thats what i call it now with all the confusion that must be going on within those spirit directed walls, LOL. None too soon would be good enough for some of us that have family members who have to shunn us now , because we used our God given rights to go form Walmart to K_Mart if you know what I mean.... but for the ones who are still in the noose is already tight around their necks,and getting a bit harder to breath, now telling them not go on the the internet, apart the the STUPIDITY BAG that they already carry ....hey they are aleaving as fast as can.....Nojw.....(little lulu says all JW are a little LULU)

Apostates Never Never Never Will Be Slaves.
by Englishman ina few months ago, our old chum rick started a thread on h20 about what would happen to some apostates after armageddon.. according to his reasoning, jw apostates, that is to say persons who had only turned against the wtbts and not against jehovah, these ones would survive the great battle and then become personal slaves to the goody two-shoes dubs who sailed through armageddon with first-class honours.
apostate duties would include the renovating of fine stately homes such as sandringham or balmoral, so that all of the very fine fellows in watchtowerland could relax in comfort from their pre-geddon labours, and enjoy being waited on hand and foot by people such as, er well, you tell me!.
so, i was just wondering, if rick is right in what he says, whom would i like to be a slave to?
