Both sides of the ‘debate’ are trivial divisive nonsense.
Jeffro. Yes, I agree with you 100% on that statement.
Unfortunatly, too many people, both on the left and right, pay FAR too much attention to trivial divisive nonsense.
these cartoons have been labeled by the venerable new york times newspaper as offensive.
they offend mexicans and pepe is a womanizing french skunk too handsy enabling the “rape culture “.
this stuff is getting so ridiculous it isn’t funny.

NY Times artilce was written by Columnist Charles M. Blow.
His name fits him.

now they have gotten the publishers to stop printing dr. seuss.

whatever, sounds like a nothingburger to me
Censorship and being told what's acceptable to read and what's NOT acceptable to read is a big nothingburger?
Wow, Glad it's only 6 books I'm now not allowed to have. I wonder if that number will grow?
during a recent conversation i had with someone, a question came up that i really don't know the answer to.
did jw's still drink during prohibition in the us during the 1920's until it's repeal in 1933?
was alcoholic beverages considered forbidden and possibly subject to disfellowshipping?.
Booze and JWS go hand in hand, its the fun sin they can participate in
Absolutely correct Rocketman. As long as it's in "moderation".

Thank you for the research. Very informative.
So, with that reasoning, I wonder if they will take the same stance if cannabis ever gets legalized on a federal level in the US. I would imagine them taking a stand against smoking it, but I wonder if they will forbid ingesting legal cannabis for recreational use.

Yes, I know of the stories about Judge Rutherford and the rest of them at that time boozing it up. But what about the average JW or Bible Student during that time? Were they required to abstain from alcohol? I guess it was OK after prohibition was repealed because a lot of JW's love their drinks.

any suggestions?.
Pick your battles. This is one you should stay away from.
if you don’t support certain ideas or beliefs, you may find yourself on the losing end in business, money matters, and community.
curt schilling, a former red sox player who is conservative today reported how his insurance company suddenly dropped him even though he was an excellent consumer with them because of his “ views”.
he was marked by those in charge and evidently was told by the rep he knew that they didn’t like his political views.
I think the media will also attack their own. As long as Trump is not there they must sell media.
Also, the late night hacks that many treat their shows like it's news will have to sell as well.
Hacks like Bill Maher, Samantha Bee, Seth Meyers, John Oliver, Jimmy Fallon, James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel, Trevor Noah, and Stephen Colbert will finally have to come up with some new material that might actually be funny for a change.
it looks like it can happen again and i suspect if it does happen, the senate will not convict either because they can’t convict him since it’s after his presidency or simply because they don’t have sufficient votes..
I doubt if anyone will read it, but here is a decent article on the subject.

AOC explains..
God help us if we are depending on AOC to explain anything.
