Very very untrue, The Bible does not teach hate, control, brainwashing, and a world owned by a few humans - lying about God for personal control and cash. I find the comparison offensive.

Why do people follow demonstrably False Prophets?
by WireRider inwhy does everyone just turn a blind eye to the false teachings of the watchtower?
the bible warns us many times and in many ways not to follow false prophets - including the lake of fire.
fundamentally why do the followers of the watchtower just ignore the very bible they claim to live by?.

My question is very fundamental. The Bible condemns false prophets. If you claim to speak to, or for, God and claim events in his name, and those events do not take place, they are a false prophet. How do people read that and still believe in the Watchtower.
Russell guaranteed the world would end in 1914. (based upon his recent travel to Egypt (pictures online) and measurements of the great pyramid - not because of anything in the Bible) Opps - didn't happen.
He apologized that his measurements were a little off - and promised the world would end in the next year, 1915.
God got fed up and killed Russell in 1916. (he had to let 1915 expire completely just to rub it in that Russell was a lier.)
They have always been false prophets. Why do people refuse the Bible and still follow the Watchtower? Many many false claims followed.

I am Christian. In another capacity - I am also an ordained Christian Pastor.
I hate to see the injustice of false religion force down the throats of those who do not accept it. Forcing people to shun people is reprehensibly cruel and a tool of the weak and scared. If your faith is so wrong that you have to resort to emotional terrorism to keep people to stay, it is evil and not a Christian belief.

How can people just "overlook" dozens or so times the Watchtower has guaranteed the end of the world on certain dates, and just go "oops". And people keep going. And people keep going. People keep giving them their money. Sure that EVERYTHING they claim is true..
The Bible very clearly states that the 144,00 ARE VERY SPECIFICALLY 12,000 of each of the 12 tribes of Israel - NEVER ABOUT the Watchtower and the JW. The Bible clearly says the Watchtower and the Jehovah's Witnesses will be cast into the lake of fire for being false prophets - and generally conning people to be their obedient human slaves and trying to build an anti-Christ army on earth.
The Watchtower is the only organized group on the planet to force people NOT to go to Church and to NOT read the Bible on their own without THEIR strict perversion of it and specifically to go out of their way to denounce Christ.
I don't know if the Watchtower is the anti-Christ - but they really think they are - and trying everything they can to kiss his feet and beg to be his servant. The anti-Christ and the Watchtower are the only ones with a great longing for the "final battle" and Armageddon. Guess what - the Watchtower is screwed. Satan thinks they are a joke too.
The WT/JW are a doomsday cult, It's a sick and misguided belief as an excuse to control, manipulate, and torture people for a future they will NEVER get..
Every penny and every moment and every word is in support of them in condemning others into a life of human controlled emotionally slavery. I wish everyone would just LEAVE and cripple their power. EVERYONE that still attends ANY services or functions are promoting human emotional slavery. Next time, every time, you set foot into a "Kingdom Hall" you are promoting the terrorism of others.

If it's not too late - save yourself and walk away. I was involved for two years (we had both been divorced from terrible marriages) with a JW who assured me that she could have a relationship, even to some day get married. I have found, unfortunately, that JW seem to be able to lie without any regret or remorse. Most don't want to be be in the cult in the first place and just lie about it, and to them, without any problem at all to appear to be in good standing. Aloof, arrogant, and hypocritical. I was engaged for one day before her brother and the cult found out. It sounds like she spent the next two weeks strapped in a chair for "special" brainwashing.

by average joe ina bethelite was telling me that there are 83,000 theocratic facilities world wide.
he compared that to 35,000 mcdonalds and 21,000 starbucks roughly to show the size of the theocratic organization.
i am not sure where the 83,000 comes from what would he be counting?

83,000 buildings. So what? Is that the goal of a religion?
I believe more in the message and charitable work of McD.
83,000 has only accomplished a stain upon the fake and bastardized rip off of Christianity. The WT keeps people out of real churches. The WT prints a fake bible and tons of books to keep people away from the real Bible. The WT takes advantage of people's time, effort, and money.
No one in the world takes the JW and WT seriously. They are so small, just frankly annoying, and soooo wrong - that Christians just ignore them.

It's really nice of all the JWs to give the Watchtower their time and hard earned money to build a real estate empire controlled by only a handful of men. Now the Watchtower is begging for more money (stealing a lot and manipulating people). What is all that money really used for? I don't see a lot of charity work to help anyone. -

Charles Russell never passed the 7th grade. He didn't like educated people - they ask questions and expect answers.
Of course there are the reasons that uneducated people are easier to manipulate, All they need is gullible sales people to sell their printing and con others to join. A successful life is not only not required but frowned upon. It creates a false dependency. If you keep the herd at a mental/emotional age of 10 they are a lot easier to control.

Achilles heel of Watchtower publications
by Gorbatchov inthe wts has published over it's existence during the years a flood of books and magazines.
many of the content of this publications includes topics about the medical, social, history field and also counsel about life style.. the achilles heel of all these publications is, that they are written mainly by amateurs, without verification and validation.
most of it is worthless.

Achilles heel?
Charles Russell never passed the 7th grade. Yet created and encyclopedia sets about the Bible because regular people were too stupid to actually READ the Bible and figure it out for themselves. He went right from Dungeons & Dragons to explaining a very long dead, and debunked, version of religion.
Russell was NEVER an ordained minister/pastor from any church. In my opinion it renders the JW/WT, all claims to have ordained others, teachings, and marriages as false.
Russell never passed the 7th grade - no wonder he didn't want anyone to go tho high school or collage.
Russell was divorced. I thought that is a bad thing. Hypocrite. He was an ass and his wife filed for divorce to get away from him. People listen to him preach about marriage? He promised God to be/stay married forever. Or is that just what they tell people? They do not allow divorced people to re-marry. (they newspaper articles and divorce court transcripts can be found online - he was diddling the 14yr house girl locking himself in her room often overnight. She couldn't testify as she was then on a slooow boat to Australia with a pocket full of cash.)
Rutherford, who insisted on being called "Judge" was never ever a judge. He ripped off 19 million (or some 150 million in modern equivalent) to build a mansion in California - during the great depression era. Really?
