forgive me if this has already been posted before.

it came from a reliable source working on the warwick project.. wallkill bethel had broken ground and laid the foundation for a new recreation building.

Beth - love your posts. Nothing is going to happen. Nothing is going to happen for millions of years. It is really sad and pathetic that people like the Watchtower lie and coerce people in to stupid thoughts. The Watchtower lies and cheats to take your money and gain power - that's the real armageddon. With "Beth Sarim" you should know it's all a fraud.

I'm OK with it. The Watchtower is an Armageddon cult. They mistakenly believe they are the anti-christ wanting the end of the world. The Watchtower and "Jehovah" Witnesses will be at the front of the line for the lake of fire for false prophets. God hates them for lying to people. The sole purpose of the Watchtower is to keep people out of Christian Churches and out of the Bible they can't control.

That you for the dialog. Well said. I need to think about the implications.

Because its very difficult to gain credibility with a brand new holy book and anyone who claims to be directly inspired by God or to have special knowledge is quickly challenged to prove it, which as yet nobody can. So its easier to use an existing book to base your theology on and to claim to be the only one correctly interpreting it.

I think we all need time to ponder that. The WT/JW is only a 100 yrs old and tried to force a religion.

In the case of the Watchtower, Rutherford just evolved Russell's belief that Christianity had essentially been corrupted (this idea originated during the protestant reformation) and it was the Bible Student's task to distill the "truth" from the lies. Therefore sooner or later (later in this particular case) a Jehovah's Witness version of the Bible had to logically follow.

I do respectively disagree. In the mid 1900's Christianity from some small place in the middle east didn't have time to be corrupted. Russell followed Miller to Arianism and Adventistism and end-of-the-world religions.

Russell had a successor picked out. It wasn't Rutherford. Rutherford hijacked the group and commercialized it. He stole over 150 million to build his place in CA. He was never a pastor - or cared.

I live in a town. There is a Watchtower Kingdom Hall. They do not pay any local sales tax or property tax. They have local coverage of police and fire and community services for free --- at the unwanted expense of EVERYONE else.

The Watchtower is a plague and blight on all our communities. They suck up services. Tax free. AND THEY HAVE NO PLACE OR REASON to be here. They offer NO benefit to the community at all.

The WT/JW are like locusts. Tax free - robing locals.

We hate them. Stop knocking at our doors unwanted. Not unwanted - despised. Get out.

Get off my door step and stop sucking up my taxes - I never agreed to pay local taxes to cover you!

Use use the Old Testament - hate Jews for writing it wrong and misunderstanding their own writings. Use use the New Testament and hate hate the Catholics that wrote it for understanding it wrong.

hi, i just joined the board and wanted to present myself.. i'm active, in fact very active in congregation activities serving "where the need is great" in a foreign language congregation somewhere in western europe.

as a young brother, i'm seen as an example as i'm doing all a good witness should do.. i had doubts years ago but i decided just to ignore them and move to another congregation to preach more.

that worked for some years but i'm now at the exact same point.

The Horror of mom needing blood and almost dying...you dont want this!!!

my mom was unwell for awhile bruises on her body....doc tells us she has a form of lukiemia.

of course "no blood" she is anointed and stubborn as hell.

her platelets (blood fraction 2% of blood volume) are 4 should be 150!!!

I HATE THE WATCHTOWER SO MUCH FOR FALSE BULLSHIT OPINIONS THEY FORCE ON OTHERS.

I think there are issues with "consuming" blood. But that makes some sense - don't drink (ingest) blood. Although it is probably a high protein snack of very vital nutrient we already need. Transfusion are NOT DRINKING BLOOD. I am alive today for God's help/ability/knowledge to replace blood I needed.

Did ANYONE ever stop to think that God gave us the ability to save lives with blood transfusions? The medical and the science and the knowledge and the ability to save the lives of each other. GOD GAVE US BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS AND LIFE SAVING SKILLS. Why the hell to people refuse God's gift?

Don't run around drinking the blood of goats. Be kosher. But any one who ever eats meat - ingests blood. Every single WT/JW should be vegan or they are breaking the law. No more meat ever. Die without God's gifts of saving lives.

Stupidest thing I ever heard that people refuse life saving measures.
