The money question...
by Tornintwo ini am intrigued to know if there is truly any evidence of financial irregularities in the jehovah's witness organisation or if any one or group are raking off funds or benefitting financially...?.
whilst i disagree wholeheartedly with most of their teachings and practices, dogmatism, legalism and superiority complex, i don't honestly think there's anyone making millions at the top.
yes you could say that the gb are comfortably off, don't have to pay bills etc but they do actually get up in the morning and 'work', they aren't going off in private jets to tropical islands or driving bentleys.

Why do I have to pay extra taxes for their water, fire department, police services? -

I know this has posted before, but can't a non-profit be audited? If nothing else to check their status as a non-profit as not-prophets?
Fund raiser? Auditor?
Their non-profit status should certainly be revoked. They are a blight on society.

Theocratic Ministry School cancelled. Why?
by the girl next door inis it possible this aspect of the meeting was cancelled so that jws would not be categorized as a "school" where in many areas elders and ministerial servants would have to submit to a background check by secular authorities?

Funny.
The Watchtower has never had a Theocratic Ministry School.
Russell and the Watchtower are followers of Arius. Excommunicated from the Catholic Church in 320 AD. Ordered that he be excommunicated, banished, and all his works to be burned. The New Testament is very specifically a collection of books that refute his teachings. The Bible is in fact exactly opposite of everything Arius and the Watchtower ever taught. The Bible is the opposite of the Watchtower - by plan an design.
How would they have a school of Theology? The Bible forbid them and all false prophets. They are not even allowed to use the Bible - they were excommunicated in 320 AD.

The Watchtower are humans
by WireRider inthe watchtower are humans.
they have never had any conversation with any god, let alone one by a made up name.
they never had any power at all bestowed upon them.

I guess what I am saying is that the Watchtower are humans. Humans only.
There is no golden calf - no anointed - an certainly no anthropomorphism. The Watchtower are humans.
NO rights to re-define a Bible. NO rights to "disfellowship" anyone from any Church.
Their beliefs are really Satanic. They keep people out of real Churches. They enslave people to make money for them and recruit new slaves like door-to-door salesmen.
The Watchtower is only humans. NO contact with God. And they threat people like shit at their whim.
Why do people listen to them???????

What if moving the world headquarters of the Watchtower is just a cover-up?
by WireRider inwhat better way to scam a few hundred million off the top?
with all the conversations, and truly distractions, of shortfalls and money problems - sell off about 1.2 billion of highly valued, tax exempt, property in brooklyn ny and build an ehhh 500 million property upstate.
what happened to the missing 700 million?

cough cough choke choke. You just give them your hard earned money? Why?
Why? Are they building homes for the homeless? Are they feeding the poor around the world? They won't even pay taxes for their own fire/police/cityservices/general in their communities. They stole all the savings of KHs.
Why do you give them money?

Supposed to be "working" in Brooklyn - nice house in CA. Not in the pay scale for a man who was never a Judge in his life. Nice for the homeless in the soup lines. Russell did not want him to be his successor.

Just to clarify - "church funds". This is the money taken from regular people. Who think their blood/sweat/tears money is being used for "God's work".
The Watchtower has no charity program that is not self serving. Tax exempt people stealing from every society by burdening them to support their !#$%#$% "church".

Interesting take. Rothschild's would evoke the Freemasons. Perhaps the GB is not taking the money for themselves. Russell had ties to the masons. The Watchtower money scam could be a just a money making scam to scrape off billions from naive people.
I don't believe in it. But a lot of stupid people do and try to pull it off.

I truly hate the Watchtower for humans that have NEVER spoken with God screw with people's lives - if they may leave the slave trade.
