I fully believe in Freedom of Religion in America. I believe in free speech. Everyone's right to believe and express their beliefs. But ... in America we also have laws against fraud. False claims of tax-exempt status.

The Watchtower has demonstrated that it has no overall benefit for the greater good. In fact the Watchtower is a blight on society. Tax money goes to support local services like schools, police, fireman, ambulance - for which the Watchtower believes that it is not obligated to pay for all the benefits they receive for themselves and their congregations. They bask in the comfort of their surroundings and arrogantly refuse to contribute anything. The surrounding community is FORCED by the Watchtower to pay taxes for these services for them. It is a blight on society - provide nothing to the community, and suck up local resources.

They Watchtower is clearly a for-prophet company.

As to Freedom of Religion I would also ask why the Watchtower claims to be Christians? They are not. They are followers of Arius - banned 2000 years ago by Christians and Rome. And still they rail against Catholic and Protestant religions. Most Watchtower people don't even understand that they are part of a religion that was banned unilaterally banned by Christians 2000 years ago. Yet they all use the Catholic assembled New Testament every day - and every day hate the Catholics. Going into a real Christian Church is considered a disfellowship offense. Why do they teach (brainwash) that?

My question about Anti-Christ is about who forbids people from attending Christian churches and Christian holidays? What church bashes other churches? The Watchtower has no tolerance for Freedom of Religion. The Anti-Christ has two roles - a) create a world wide network and following b) convert people away from God and keep them away from Christian churches and fellowship celebrating God during holidays. c) keep them away from any other governing body or opinions. Sound familiar? They suck at it. 0.01% ? But they believe in a pact with the Anti-Christ to be his mouth-piece and be the rulers of the "Kingdom".

I would have more respect if the Watchtower just came out with their own faith and book. Instead they plagiarize the Christian Bible with many changes to suit their fraud. It wasn't crafted or edit to form a religion - ALL changes to the "New World Testament" have been made reactively to defend and cover their ass about fraud statements.

Of course, every time they print a revised version EVERYONE is forced to buy one, at any cost, from the WT/Publishing company. Cha ching. The Internet and free sharing of information, has already, and will KILL the publishing business.

Who thinks/claims that they are in control - for some reason that might even happen?

Who had a chat with God to say the WT will be in charge? Ever? Ever?

I have to look at the Great Deceiver who will not ever allow people to go to a Church or participate in Christianity. Those that claim Catholics and Protestants for "doing it wrong" as some sort of reason to shun them entirely.

That is the Watchtower. I will never believe that is real - but they do. Anti-Christ wanna-bees. They believe it.

World wide armies - worldwide deception. Praying on the weak. And stupid people keep giving them money.

Trinity doctrine and bible canonization

hello, a quick question that came to find and couldn't find easy answer using google so i'ma try here.. so: was the doctrine of trinity decided to be a christian doctrine by the same people who chose which books to include in the bible?

i vaguely remember that both of these subjects were decided at the first council of nicaea.

if this is not the case, then when, where and by whom were these things decided?.

If you want to think about the Watchtower - read Arius and think stuck in time. Arius was branded and utterly banished as an apostate.

They are still pissed about a figure 1900 years ago.

The JW/WT who follow Arius are the apostates (Adventists, pyramidism, pagan - all the worship of Russell). Ironic. They hate the they Catholics out of revenge - but they use their Bible - The NT very intentionally centered around they Trinity.

All JW/WT should worry more about bursting into flames for reading the Bible that walking into a CHURCH.

My 2 cents. There are a lot of opinions, but few provable facts.

Emperor Constantine had a real political problem in the province. It was a turning point in history. The Roman's had many "gods". The uprising of the "Christians" and the many factions there of. He needed a consensus to calm the crowds and fighting.

He called together some 20+ Catholic Bishops to put an end to political unrest. The Counsel of Nicaea.

Arius showed up. Arius had largely been dismissed as he preached against the divinity of Jesus and against the Trinity. Not only did they kick him out, they banished him to the north and ordered all of his works to be burned. The entire NT was very specifically collected around the concept of the Trinity - if nothing else to prove Arius very wrong. His works were considered completely dead by 380AD.

Until Charles Russell picked them up somewhere around 1875 and thought they were cool.

The Adventist, and JW/Watchtower descendants are still known as the Arianism. The rejectors of Jesus.

There was such persecution of there ideas that they had to plagiarizer their own version of the Bible to quell questions about their own publishing to their own congregation.

Cha ching another million books sold by a "publishing company"..... every couple of years.

The Bible says, very specifically, that 144,000 is from 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. How the hell does the WT/JW feel like they can just hijack that? 12 tribes of Israel. I never read anything about false prophet infomercial sharletons from Brooklyn.

How does everyone ever in the Watchtower and Jehovah's Witnesses just completely ignore that?

They follow - very provably false prophets - directly into the lake of fire. Their "kingdom" is rather hot ... and damned.

Charles Russell / the Watchtower / the Jehovah Witness dug up the works of Arius who was completely and utterly kicked out of Christianity and the his works banned from the Bible in 320 AD. The true Bible was assembled intentionally to completely refute Arius (Watchtower). But yet the use the "Apostate" (Arius's words) Bible as their foundation - and still rail against Catholics.

Charles Russell was never a theologian. He never passed the seventh grade. He was never an ordained minister at all. He just made shit up. Russell was an idiot and wrong. Rutherford was truly the snake oil salesman that knowingly ripped people off.

wouldn't the claimed spokespeople for GOD pretty much have all the wealth they will ever need. I am becoming very suspicious that they are not the divine spokespeople for GOD they claim.

Fictional - but practical. The Catholic Church tries to hide the fact that a Church is entirely unnecessary in order to have a relationship with God/Jesus.

In the end he does find the Gospel of Jesus - that really discredits all churches in general as fakes and unneeded and unwanted.

why are people paying for a scam?.

It is a little venting. What does the WT do for the world? I hear snake oil salesmen with a printing company and now a real estate company. What have they done to deserve people just giving them money, time, effort, and praise?

I wish everyone would know not only the motives but the real use of their money.
