The money question...
by Tornintwo ini am intrigued to know if there is truly any evidence of financial irregularities in the jehovah's witness organisation or if any one or group are raking off funds or benefitting financially...?.
whilst i disagree wholeheartedly with most of their teachings and practices, dogmatism, legalism and superiority complex, i don't honestly think there's anyone making millions at the top.
yes you could say that the gb are comfortably off, don't have to pay bills etc but they do actually get up in the morning and 'work', they aren't going off in private jets to tropical islands or driving bentleys.

Just to clarify - "church funds". This is the money taken from regular people. Who think their blood/sweat/tears money is being used for "God's work".
The Watchtower has no charity program that is not self serving. Tax exempt people stealing from every society by burdening them to support their !#$%#$% "church".

Interesting take. Rothschild's would evoke the Freemasons. Perhaps the GB is not taking the money for themselves. Russell had ties to the masons. The Watchtower money scam could be a just a money making scam to scrape off billions from naive people.
I don't believe in it. But a lot of stupid people do and try to pull it off.

2 years - awesome relationship.
We both had a past - both divorced from very very bad marriages. 44/39. She was JW. We were engaged for about 24 hours. Her brother found out and turned her in to the Watchtower. She thanked me for fucking up her entire life. I'm not sure how that happens. My Christian Church would have welcomed her with very open arms.
I haven't been able to see her ever again.

What happened to the missing 700 million? Why aren't using it for a surge in world wide upgrades? If they had such a windfall from the Brooklyn propery why did they also pare it with raiding all they savings of everyone - at the same time? Where is all they money going? Is all this crap. and "leaked" information, just a distraction? They can't even say it with a straight face.
They have tons of slaves working in a toxic waste dump to build their property for free this time. That would be just wrong to kill slaves. What if the "toxic" problem is a hoax? They claim to be spending millions to have to clean it up. Nice scam. Leak a few letters. Filing in court doesn't cost much especially if you just want the publicity and never intend to go through with it. Millions more in the pocket.
Maybe in a few years pull the same scam and move the headquarters again to anywhere. Scam more money off the top.

Funny. In 1929 Rutherford stole over 150 million from forced donations of Watchtower followers to build a house. (19.5 million in 1929 but carried forward unscientifically to 2015) Rutherford highjacked the group and kept screaming the world is going to end tomorrow. He was a very loud FALSE PROPHET that lied about everything. He stole 19.5 million from people in the Great Depression Era to build his part-time house in CA. People were starving to death ... here. Great Depression - how bought 5 cars to brag for his CA home - people in soup lines were falling over dead - and he was stealing their money for "God". People were conned into selling their houses, giving the money to the Watchtower, and families choosing to live in their cars so that they could be more mobile to preach the Watchtower word .... because the world was going to end any day now.
The Watchtower has been the most self-serving snake oil salesman plague the world has ever known. They create slaves of humans to sell their crap, build their buildings for free, and recruit more stupid slaves to work for free.
Their existence is a plague. They are "tax exempt" which means that the whole of society is paying local taxes for fire/police/hospitals/general for them. We all have to pay for them. WTF? They are like locusts. They come to neighborhoods, take advantage of them, than hated uninveted pounding on door thing, enslave the stupid and inocent, a sexually molest children because they feel entitled by their "religion".

Fuck the Watchtower and the horse they rode in on.
The Watchtower uses/abuses a book that very specifically defines them and specifically warns everyone against them and very specifically states that they will be cast into the lake of fire and burn in hell for all eternity.
No Christian Church "Disfellowships People" - they don't. They embrace people. The Watchtower is not a Christian Church.
Put that on a brochure to attract more victims.
