Rumors-that circulated about you ( when you left.)

i've been out for three years now, and i heard that i'm a whack job, i'm gay ( i'm married with a son ), that i lied on a judicial committee, and these rumors were started by my ex-fiance and her meddling congregation.
when i heard about these things i called my p.o or c.o.t.b.e ( mind you i'm disfellowshipped when i called ) .

MY JW DAD HAS CUT US OFF! WE ARE DEAD !

we have 4 kids, he ain't going to see them before the grim reaper comes lookin for him.
my job skills are well in demand in alberta canada so that's our next move, we are getting out of the uk sinking ship asap, we have family in alberta who will sponsor us so i think it's time to leave and make a new start for our kids, as their aren't no jobs in the uk for them now even with university qualifications behind them.

Heads up, the Local Needs part this week is a special talk on blood transfusions.
by miseryloveselders ina brother called me to ask who was delivering the talk at our hall.
i didn't know what he was talking about.
he then explained to me that this week, for the local needs, congregations across the us will have a brother deliver a special outline on blood transfusions.. .

About 25 yrs ago, my then 11 yr old daughter had bone tumours (similar to terry fox and at the very same time)
took 9 doctors to diagnoise, very rare,,,,we were lucky, doc from mayo clinic happened to be in vancouver emergency ward when we took her in, again
day after diagnosis, she was in vancouver children's hospital, surgery with top docs
they were looking at amputating her leg, we did the blood talk,
and amazingly, just that year, the wt came out with how transplants were a conscience matter, as she might have needed a bone transplant ,, etc
found out later, doc said there is no way in xxxx he would have let us deny her blood
(i was secretly happy over it)

The elders of the '80s are retiring
by truthseeker ini was catching up on news with a friend of mine from my old hall - a few of the elders have stepped down and some have retired.. these are men who were in their 30's during the 1980's when i was very young - now they are retiring or facing retirement.. i sometimes wonder how they feel after working all those years only to wake up and realize that their working lives are over.. do they ask themselves: what's happened?
where's armaggedon?
the day of reckoning has come - the elders who were 30 in 1980 are now 60 years old.
