Hi!
what's the first KM song number for august 29.?
i was once told that john denver (folk singer of songs like rocky mountain high and such) was on the tonight show one night.
he was a huge patriot and apparently had no love whatsoever for jw's.
apparently as the story goes, john gets up to sing a patriotic song and before he begins tells the audience "if there are any jehovah witnesses in the audience, you may want to leave right now.
Freded: maybe what you saw was part of a sketch?

According to the tonight website, denver didn't have any suposed "short apperence": 1972: JOHN DENVER - CS sings 'It's A Sin To Tell A Lie', panel and discuss: Song writing, and then sings 'Prisoners'. 1973: JOHN DENVER - CS sings 'Rocky Mountain High', panel/discuss: Performing at Carnegie Hall, and his hobby - astronomy. 1982: DENVER - They discuss: Vacationing in the Caribbean, spending most of his time in Aspen - Colorado, his children, his fear of snow skiing, how well his new song 'Shanghai Breezes' is doing, how the song came about, then John plays at panel 'Shanghai Breezes' and talks about seeing lovers in China on the streets, how the culture of China is being changed by tourists and consumer goods, having enjoyed the food there - with the exception of yak butter in Tebet. 1984: JOHN DENVER - Sings 'Forest Lawn', then panels and discusses death and funerals, his upcoming 52 city tour, love for flying and his plane, close calls they've both had while piloting an airplane, then John goes to centerstage and plays the piano and sings the song 'Wild Heart Looking For Home.' 1984: JOHN DENVER - Centerstage sings 'Love Again', panel and discuss: His recent trip to the Soviet Union, his trip to China, the fact that in the last two yearshe has performed in 27 different countries, and then sings 'It's About Time' at panel. 1985: JOHN DENVER - CS sings 'Don't Close Your Eyes Tonight', panel/discuss: Being tired from his busy week, was offered the part of Richard Geer in 'Officer And A Gentleman', public images, his new video, is enjoying being 41 years old and not wearing glasses, doing concert in Russia and one in China, and finds music to be a universal language. So... which of these, is the very short one?
.
recently someone made a post that quoted some wts literature saying that when a person leaves the organization they are the one causing the family breakup.. does anyone remember where this is?
that is probably one of the most dangerous ideas that the wt has written about. You may hate the truth, yoy may not want to be a witness, but if you leave... think about your poor family, you are destroying them! So stay inside the borg for the sake of your family! And if your family member leaves, you (as a family) are entiteld to hate him, because he want's to destroy your family!

Ok, denver. Let's see if you are really telling the truth here. How did Denver react to that comment?

well freded... now it isn't a first hand report? I thought you said you saw the show? And you think anyone will believe you now? Get lost!
as many of you now know, i was in the mental ward for a breif period.
after i got out of the mental ward, i was placed in group therapy where i am today.
i talked with my therapist today and he mentioned a very interesting fact.
Genetic? It is all to easy to blame your genes. Sure, genetic factors can be part of the problem, but a depression is far more complex than that. A depression is the human brain's way to hide the real problem. Instead of dealing with the problem, you become mentally ill. The use of medication can never cure the disease, only help the brain to control it's behaivior. And of course your religion can stimulate a mentall illness, especially when the religion is an evil cult, which tries to break you down and insert it's own bullshit propaganda. But who is really mentally sane? Frued once said: "Give me a sane man, and I will cure him"
it started thursday with a nasty cough.
friday morning, i felt like crap and was coughing up crap so i went to the doctor.
he told me i have bronchitis (yayyy) and prescribed both an antibiotic and a cough syrup with codeine (that puts me to sleep).
Antibiotics have never, and will never cure any bacterial deciese. Vaccination does. And it is indeed very dangerous to use antibiotics, when you don't have to. Multi resistant bacterias (MRSA) is a major problem, and it is growing. In a few years from now (if nothing is done), antibiotics as we know them today will have no effect.
