sure, we all love the big budget, mainstream releases that are so successful they spawn never-ending (it sometimes seems) sequels.
we could watch marvel and star-wars movies for the rest of our lives (and we might just ...).. but y'know what i love?

"Apostasy" is worse than...??
by stuckinarut2 init is funny to contemplate how ridiculous the act of shunning "apostates" who leave the org for conscientious reasons is.. so we have been rudely ignored and even abused by jws who :.
1) have been imprisoned recently for dishonest business practices and fraud worth millions of dollars.
2) have been bankrupt several times.

a term i came to learn about after waking up as i'm sure many of us here did.
i was thinking of how this condition is similar to the proverbial glass prison, how jw are unknowingly confined by the walls of their belief while observing life around them but are truly captives to a concept as ray put it.. .

I recalled the last conversation I had with my elder brother and after explaining why I can't believe in the flood for instance because of x.y and z I said "how can you believe something that has been debunked by science and logic?"
He said in a frustrated pissed off tone, "I don't need to prove it happened or didn't, jesus believed it was true so that's good enough for me! "
I found that statement totally absurd...

I had a pet hate... Being a musician I couldn't understand why we were only permitted to use the orchestra arrangements to sing to at assemblys and the dryballs plonking unaccompanied piano tracks at the kingdom hall, it was so cringe worthy, it was such a cardboard, drab excuse for song... Not even some reverb or strings to colour it. Puke....
Oh and had to laugh at some of the stupid lyrical attempts to rhyme... Efficacious...! Wtf effen ridiculous more like it

by Normalfulla injust had to share... a former friend of my wife's, has just left our house, unbeknown to us, her and her husband have been inactive for about a year and a half, they have pre teen boys too.
she reached out to my wife as she had heard that we were apostates etc and needed someone to talk to.. .
after her father dying she was in a bad place mentally and emotionally and reached out to her cong for support, apon receiving 0 she turned to the bible for comfort only in her raw emotional state to realize that jehovah was a murderous unfair god and then her wheels of rational reasoning started turning.. she questioned things and was outspoken about things and attracted elder attention... long story short she wanted to connect with a friendly ear and she splurged she's never going back, the bible is all bulls**t and it's a cult, despite not knowing most of ttatt we all shared experiences and watched her eyes boggle at (stuckinarut... the first euphoric high) the un scandal, beth sarim, ray franz, 607, arc.

Cancer in Animals

they are supposedly still as big j intended, so therefore cancer is a creation by the big fella himself?.
just an exercise for one's who believe in the whole bible story thing.. (not me)... any others anomalies you can think of ?

Oh hi Auntie 😊. 1st of all let me say thank you, I'm incredibly grateful to have such a wonderful, loving and fun bunch of family in my life, including you! U must be proud as a parent to have raised such genuine people. I am an honest person and so am sorry to say I won't be attending the memorial which I know may sadden you 😢. Many things for me didn't add up about what I was taught to believe so eventually I did independent objective research and found that "the truth" is not what it claims to be, in fact far from it... and that depressed me immensely but I had to do what was right for me and my family despite the heavy repercussions from questioning or disagreeing with the organisation. I know for you the belief that we will die soon in armageddon is almost too much to bear but please ponder the reality that there is evidence and proof that what is taught is not true.. I would be an idiot to condem myself and my beloved children to death just to miss some meetings and field service x x love you Auntie

Well normalfulla i know conditions are going to get pretty bad and I'd rather have Jehovah to rely on than man.
Poor lady, my cousins are all out and their relationship with their mum is only complicated by her WT delusion, none were baptised, at least they have a relationship with her but she is always always on at them to come back before armageddon, thankfully they all know ttat but keep it to themselves.
