smiddy3 I really like the idea of passing on bits of me to help others in need...after all life is precious... Iâm sure I wonât need my organs anymore.
I have also thought give myself away for scientific purposes?! đ¤
but if so no organ donations will be allowed....then whom ever can go down the pub, have a pint and celebrate my life. Sorted.

i didn't post for a while, but i still enjoy the great jwn community.. just wanted to share a "gem" from the november 2019 study watchtower.. paragraph 8 from the article "are you maintaining your large shield of faith?".
satan, âthe father of the lie,â uses those under his control to spread lies about jehovah and about our brothers and sisters.
Trust our brothers And Sisters!... they forgot that bit.
Anyhooo.... how can brothers be trusted if they are themselves imperfect?
And are not these same brothers AND sisters that would turn on anyone for anything other than a small infringement?!
Thereâs no trust inside of Congregations... itâs a pretend game that some are better at than others.
Everyone has to watch their own backs to FIT IN with the purpose of it all.
This simple hypocrisy should signal not a true love religion.

I mean, if you are no longer a Jehovah witness (KH ceremony) what would be your choice of ceremony? Who would be your speaker choice?
I only ask because when my mum passed away... even though she wasnât a JW she did get a witness inspired funeral by my jws family (she wouldâve be proud as my brother did the speech ) BUT not as happy with a clean cut funeral service .
I would never would like this to happen to me, So Iâm gathering ideas WAAYYY ahead of time(I hope đ)!

seriously, itâs getting to a point that you canât make a negative comment about someone without being charged as a racist, homophobe or sexist!
if you criticize a female, you are obviously sexist.
if you criticize someone who happens to be gay, you must hate homosexuals.
Being mixed race myself this is not a subject that I pay attention too much in my life anymore.
When I was younger yes... segregation was the worse. Today Iâm lucky to live in a multicultural society that is normal to see different people weather is race or sexual orientation.
So in retrospect I measure my words if needs be, I know Iâm not racist and if I offend anyone without knowing I apologise taking note for the next time.
*Are we being critical towards a person because one of their faults or do we have mixed feelings about their race towards the individual?
Maybe this is the question to ask ourselves.

the question above has been circulating my mind for a while and iâve been wondering if thereâs anyone that thought the same or done it.. we normally associate shunning and disassociation with jehovahâs witnesses that are normally baptised, but my situation is a reversed one.. i was a bible student that left a long time ago on my own free will, never shunned never ostracised by my jwâs siblings and their families.
the years have passed and situations have arisen that has made me uncomfortable of the knowledge of particular outcomes within my siblings and families.. iâve been thinking to stay away from my family( living in a different country ), as i donât want to be preached on or feel out of touch and segregated by their opinions of me and my family.
Thank you. Itâs true that if any of my family Wakes up or Fades... Iâm the only one left that they can really turn to.
Maybe Iâll always be the only one left of the five. Who knows? âşď¸

malaise according to the cambridge dictionary:.
a general feeling of being ill or having no energy, or an uncomfortable feeling that something is wrong, especially with society, and that you cannot change the situation.
where the dictionary says society, read "the society"........... is there a malaise in the jw world?
Thank you for clarifying the amount of meetings we had. I never saw it as 5, wasnât even aware of that. All I knew was âyou have to go to the meeting tonight!!â... three repeatedly phrases a week that my sister used to rumble on and on about.
were you so indoctrinated that you just couldnât leave?
was it due to family pressure?
was it your friendships that you didnât want to lose?
For me was simple. I was 13, my father had died and I was no longer dragged to meetings and to weekend ministry by my older siblings.
i lived a double standard and felt that I was a sinner and not good enough all the way.
i had to be honest with myself and god... couldnât carry on being a double agent. This was only because in those days I really needed to fit in...mixed race child living in a crispy white world, already bullied at school... following JWs rules would and did in some instances made life impossible...from teachers to fellow students.
even at that age there was the others double life standards that I noticed. This is my most permanent memory.
How could my family be so nasty at home and so nice in the Hall?
I couldnât make it if they were nasty or nice. So was an easy choice and I never looked back.
