mine as best abysmal.. we had brother ..i can't sing in tune but will sing louder than anyone else.. sister trained opera voice that sang a note or 3 above everyone else.. the rest were just down rite dreadfull..
LoneWolf - that's quite a skill. to pickout the harmony while everyone else is on the melody.
i was one of those who tried to put the big baritone notes into the ( ): Forward Goooooo! (forward go) Fearlessly Gooo (fearlessly go).... and really i go for it too!
usually on my own or bro oddball would pick it up on the next verse and join in.
no longer in the the new songbook which is mostly condensed lyric alltered fds praising rubbish. many are just un-singable.

i received an anonymous email over at ex-jw.com that had an attached legal filing.
the first couple of pages seemed to be standard legal filings, but the rest of the pages looked like standard typed documentation (not in numbered double-spaced legal format.
) i'm not quite sure what to make of it, so wonder if anyone here has heard of it.
COBE at our KH uses the whole spectrum of highlighters. i swear you cannot see any of the white. green pink yellow blue. even does the subheadings

just before i stepped off being an elder the local congo were buying a piece of land with a building on it to convert (no pun intended), into a kh.. .
one of the things as i understand it was that they were going to have a flat for the co in situ but report to the local authorities that it ws just a janitors flat.
apparently if the council knew it was for the co it would be unacceptable for some reason.

just one point if i may, whenever i read anything about this subject i seem to always be confused when i see the the date 568. i feel maybe i am not the only one.
568 would be the dating of NebII's 37th year from VAT4956? is this correct?
and from this we count back to his 19th year? this gives the Regnal year of Jerusalem destruction? (as per Jeremiah: "In the 19th year of Neb")
NebII's 37th year (minus) 19th year = 18yrs
so 18yrs before NebII's 37th year = 586.BCE Jerusalem destroyed by NebII's Babylonians.
the Key date really then is 568?

do you have any information to explain what this actully means in real terms? am i correct in saying that ownership/title/deeds of the KH will be at HQ IBSA trust?
the upkeep and maintenance of the KH building still rests on the shoulders of the local congregation, even though they no longer own the building?
if it is in TRUST, can the congregation ask for the Title/Deeds returned to the local congregation and put back into the TRUST of the local elders?
