  Would Cornelius Have Any Privileges Today?

  cornelius recieved the holy spirit before he was baptised.

  thus showing he had jah & jesus approval.

  he also was visited by an angel to tell him so:.

  “Your prayers and gifts of mercy have ascended as a remembrance before God.” The angel also told Cornelius to send to Joppa for Peter.—Ac 10:1-22.

  Cornelius was a serving Roman Centurion, God approved of him and accepted him.

  There is not a KH on this planet nor a Body Of Pharisees Elders that would let Cornelius run so much as a Microphone. His most likely outcome would be DF'd.

  How many Bro/Sis have been told to find alternative employment? or face 'restrictions' 'deletions' or disfellowshiping. many times at great cost financially. many brothers/sis while being self employed have been told in the WT and by Elders that they could not contract or bid for jobs, but that same 'job' becomes ok if your working for somebody else or not self employed!

  have they never read there own books:

  Body of Elders - LETTERS after 2006

  a couple of years ago we could download a complete package of letters to the boe up until 2006. does anyone out there have a collection of the letters after that date?

  (not just individual letters, but a complete set....).

  is their a file out there?

  elders books have always been a dissapointment except info for judicial processes. i remember dad would show it to me so that i could see that there was nothing much in it. mostly it included WT references. i think he did this because he had no 'secret place' to store it, and he knew the first chance i got, i would have it.

  he never did showed my B.O.E letters.

  What Is Happening To KH Trustees In UK? Tranfering 'Deeds' To IBSA

  had a phone call with an elder friend this week.. and he mentions that they passed a resolution at their meeting this week which involves changing the legal 'ownership' of the 'deeds' of the kh and transfering it to wts/ibsa in the uk.. this 'new arrangement' comes direct from wt hq apparently.

  he goes on to say how it passed the approval of the congregation and then laughingly said how1 brother was not in favour of the resolution.. he said: "you always get one don't you?

  this was all news to me, as far as i know we have not had this happen here.. what do you guys think?.

  there is another issue this throws up.

  say a kh is bought and payed for, what happens if in future they decide to modernise the place and borrow the money from HQ to benefit from the free labour commitee.

  thats right.

  they just borrowed money for a building they legally do not own and will make payments every month to the new owners of the building. the same 'firm' who just lent them the money, interest free.

  yes i believe there was a change to a trusteeship (is that even a word) around 1997, but as far as i am aware the deeds to the property belonged to the trust which was cared for by the elders/ trustees.so on that basis the local cong still had 'ownership of the deed' which is why there is a change to the trustees whenever an elder moves away or is no longer serving.

  under this arrangement the kh will no longer be held in trust by the local cong but will be transfered toHQ including the deeds /ownership of the building.

  who benefits if the building is then sold and the local cong is joined to another sharing the new hall that has been built?
