Like cyberjesus I got caught kissing. My crush and I snuck behind the KH after the service meeting. (we were only 13) We thought we got away with it but someone must have seen us and told my

my mother. To my surprise she took it pretty well. Knowing my father and the other men in oversight would probably overeact, she kept it between us. After a suitable lecture and some restrictions

the whole thing was over and I never did it again. To my knowledge nobody else has reported me to the elders for anything.

i think it was for me.. i knew a lot of the history of the bible students, russell, rutherford and the "old light".

Unlike some, I physically left 1st. Suffering from P.T.S.D. as well as doubts was too much for me, and the guilt and isolation was killing me. After I gave myself permission to access information on the

internet I was able to leave mentally. I was able to determine that the WTS was NOT Gods perfect organization run by imperfect men. Prior to my looking objectivly at this religion on the internet I

planned to go back as soon as I felt better. Learning these facts previously unavaible to me made me realize that the GB have NEVER been Gods channel . The defect was with THEM not me.

its in page 25 of the 2/15/12 wt study edition (i read the dumbed down version).. .

if there was any question, that the watchtowers stance is for wives to simply take it when their husbands abuse them, this makes it crystal clear.. who the hell is scanning these things before they go to print?

A few months ago my hubby and I had a similar view until a friend asked if we had heard about the Menlo Park Ca. Kingdom Hall land grab. I couldn't believe what he was saying so I Googled it. That did it for us. Their greed has no bounds.

You are getting the best advice possible .Those here have either been or are in the same boat. My husbands and my story is simialr to yours as well. As we

are doing our research, sometimes we don't come to the same conclusions at the same time. At times our differing opinions resulted in a full-blown

argument. Try to remember to be patient with each other in this process. Loosing the foundation of everything you have ever stood for and believed in is

TRAMATIC. It produces a form of grief. Experts say grief takes many forms including anger. Just remember where this anger should rightfully be directed.

Be forgiving of each others moods. The information and advice here will make your progress faster and lessen the pain. All the best to you and your wife.

I finally drove off my wonderful jw wife...and i am so sad..

i helped her move out this weekend so i must be a masochist too...so on top of losing every friend in my life...i have now lost my wife...and yes i asked her to leave on more than one occasion this year...we have argued for nearly five years about wt crap...nothing i could ever say would make her question anything!!!!

it was beyond frustrating...then this spring when i somehow disassociated myself and even lost my parents i knew i would never have a normal marriage no matter what...all i wanted was a normal marriage with mutual friends...that is off the table as long as she is a jw...but why could i not accept it???

why could i not shut up???

Mormons at the door

so yesterday afternoon i'm minding my own business when the doorbell rings.

i answer the door to find a couple of mormons.

i get into discussions with them from my agnostic viewpoint.

Funny experience! I like that you were nice to them when they called at your door. One time 2 nervous looking Mormans came to my door. I smiled and said something like : As one of JW's I appreciate the sincerity,effort, and courage it takes to do this kind of work. How is your day going so far? They started to relax and thanked me over and over for being nice. They went on to say that most everyone had been polite UNTIL they called on my JW neighbor who was so mean they were actually shaken up. I appoligized for his terrible behavior. You would think JW's would have more empathy. Glad you bought those guys a beer... it shows class!
