Blood Or Shunning - Which Bugs You More?

it would appear that active jw's who have reservations about the societies teachings, are usually doubtful about the prohibition of accepting a blood transfusion.
oddly, few seem to have any qualms about the shunning policy whilst they are still associating.

Passes for Ground Zero
by Patriot instarting tomorrow the only way to have access to the viewing platforms that were built in order to let visitors have a "closer" look at the ruins at gz is by obtaining a "pass" being handed out every day early in the morning.. this to accomadate the large crowds and demands to view the ruins.. if you dont get a pass to be able to go up the 13ft.platform which can accomadate about 400 people at a time, then you have to view the ruins from the perimeter established.. i wanted to post this info.
in order to keep showing everyone that the wt boasts of having jws walking "around the debris" talking to others about the "truth" is a lie.. as you can see the closest that you can get is only through one of the viewing platforms-and now only with a pass.. and no freddy, i'm not talking about standing next to the bank and streching out your neck as far up as you can.. mav.-

I also beleive just as NYt pointed out that there could be Firefighters or even police officers who might be studying (they would of course be required to quit their jobs if they want to be in "good" standing with the cong.) that have helped in other ways by speaking about hope found in the Bible.
actually there are a number of dedicated servants of God who are
also are firefighers..I know of one who is currently serving as an
elder.......nextI was up in NYC on Saturday, and I had no desire to go see the ruins.

involved the c.o.'s in the area..he had a excellent experience
preaching to those in the military..
and as far as your other point..why yes..there are firefighters in my local cong who share the
hope we have with others. they repeated many fine experiences talking to other about the truth of Gods Holy word -

although I do have a body that many others envy, I would never
call myself perfect(did I mention my 9.5 rating on Hotornot.com) The bible tells us only 2 men who ever
walked the earth are perfect. I truly feel sorry for that pioneer
family you mentioned. This only goes to show that our organization
is made up of imperfect people. Those that continue to worship
at the altar of the Golden Arches will not make it through Armageddon.
Simply claiming to be a servant of Jehovah is not enough.
