Bucket List for the years A.C.

what things, modest and attainable, will be on your bucket list to do after covid ?

preferably post things you would not be allowed to do if you were still a jw!.

i will start, i want to go to an actual horse race, and have a small flutter on each race..

I used to go to the horse races all the time and bet 2 bucks here and there. I don't know that JWs can not go to horse races. And I heard but don't have any solid reference that JWs changed the gambling to never to only if its only for entertainment. Not sure where that really is. It is fun watching them bring in the horses and then run them though.

Witnessing Work to Stop?

my 87 year old dad called me for the first time in 16 years the other day .... just to chat.

i was floored to say the least since he didn't even bother to call me when my mom died several years ago.

he called again today to inquire how i felt about jehovah's witnesses.

I don't think they know what to do. Things are not doing what they think or say that will happen. If I had to make a guess I would say that the GB is most likely divided on what to do and how close the end is. Pure Kool Aid drinkings like Lett are most likely pushing that this is it get ready.

BLM is a Terrorist group and I would say the JWs don't need to be associated with this extremist idiot group. They have more sense than that. I don't like the JWs but I would join up and be and elder before I would take a knee for this asshat group.

Economic Recovery after COVID-19

it feels like we've really turned a corner, this morning especially.. the covid lockdowns are ending and medical systems were not overwhelmed plus there are existing treatments that have been proven to be effective (like hydroxychloroquine) and new vaccines and medicines in the pipeline.

a week or so ago the dems were dead against opening things up but since they are encouraging protests (which often turn violent) they can't continue that stance - thus proving trumps claim that it will soon be gone.

the majority of the deaths were politician-assisted (which i hope people are prosecuted for) so it's not the big risk we were led to believe and (over) reacted to.. the bls reported this morning that the us economy just added a huge number of jobs (most on record) and will undoubtedly benefit even more from a drive to source local production and supply chains going forwards.

Well it just as I thought. BOOM the economy is going to come back with a bang. I think the left and their attempt to make this hurt Trump and the riots and anti law and order nut asses will help him push over the top. I even saw a poll that showed him rising with black voters. LOL. TRUMP 2020

Dan1555 Are you Lloyd? There are a lot of people who post videos and experiences and help others get out. I don't see this site as a pro Trump as much as its not a place for those with Trump derangement syndrome. Too many people or idiots who are orange man bad.

I forgot about that. He had illegal copies of Crisis of Conscience made up and sold the boot leg copies and said he was not doing it for money but to get the word out as I remember. He got into a fight or something like that with the other two English XJWs. If I understand it correctly the daughter of Ray Franz has authorized additional copies to be published by her as she inherited the rights to the work. Correct this if I am wrong.

I thought he was from the band Creme Brulee. I think he was the base player. I ended up unsubscribing because he has so many junk videos I can just check under JW once a month and pick out if there is anything there worth watching. He seems to think a lot of himself lately. He does have one guy who is very to the point and follows the JW child abuse cases and that is interesting getting the news on that. But the last video he had he has that guy from Romania singing these stupid parody songs. I was embarrassed for him and had to turn it off.
