Talked to an elder today

i guess the stars aligned for this one.

this morning i dropped my car off to get it fixed and the shop i always go to is a lot closer to my mom's house than mine so i asked her if i could stay at her house while it got fixed.

she was out in service doing returns at the time and offered to ride me to her house.

The last time 2 elders visited me it was because I had written to the Society regarding the U.N. foolishness.....The Society took the liberty of sending their reply to the elders with instructions that they should relay it to me. I asked for the letter from them; "NO". Iasked for a photcopy of the letter; "NO". Iasked them to let me read the letter; "NO". I asked them to read the letter to me; "NO".......by now I was thinking 'why the hell did you come here???Just to irritate me?Because you surely are' ------tho the thought went unspoken, but about this time I re-capped the whole dumb episode to them and asked if I had it right and they said, 'we're sure you understand that this isn't the type of thing the Society would want to end up on the internet'........NO?, Really?......My suggestion to them was to spit on me and slap my face, it would be less insulting than the stupidity they had just exposed me to. I then invited them to leave....and not to return; ever, without asking my permission to step foot on my property again.

I guess the word got out amongst the rest of the eldiots. In the 2 years since NO ONE has come by (Halelujah) and I've had only 1 phone request to come and see me. I knew it was to come to the memorial and I told him 'no chance of that happening in this lifetime.......maybe the next'. I hope they're done with me for good. I certainly am with them!

it was so easy i should have done it long ago....i went to www.abc.com, filled in the search bar with "20/20" and then clicked on 'email us'.

my request was simple "please do an expose' on j.w.

's and how they hide and protect pedophiles and then require those same pedophiles to go into public neighborhoods....putting them in contact with innocents, while not even being known amongst their own congregation members for the vile persons they are".. if enough of us make similar requests.....maybe,just maybe, we'll get our request.

HI mandatory reporting if minister in teaching position

i spoke to asst.

procescuting atty and said if church minister in position of teacher, such as sunday school teacher, then they are required to report sexual abuse if a child tells them of the sexual abuse.

this has to be the child not the parents telling them..so you parents if your child comes to you about sexual abuse by church member then go with them and support them while your child tells the minister who is in a teaching capacity.

the sales of properties of the former " bethel " in brooklyn amassed them millions of more $$$$ .

there was a thread in one of the topcs on this forum .....i think it was aclled "smoking gun" and it had copies of a letter from the wtb&ts stating the '2 witness' rule.

i believe the incriminating lines were high-lighted in yellow.

i meant to bookmark it, but didn't.....duh.

Thanks Scott77.... I bookmarked that and have also gone back and used the search bar to try to find the letter to the elders regarding the 2 witness rule,but haven't found it yet. If I remember correctly it showed a yellow high lighted portion that made the 2 witness rule undeniable. Thanks for the help so far.Anyone else remember this ....it might have been dated 1997. Thank you.

Support Sparlock grow a Goatee!!

just thought i would share another hurdle over in the road to recovery from dubdom.

i now sport a fashionable, neatly trimmed goatee and i do not worry about bumping into jw's.

took me over 2 years to crack that one..... now as mine looks exactly like sparlocks (grey too), does anyone know where i can get a hat like his??

I grew a goatee a few months ago ----have wanted one for decades. The fact that it bears a strong resemblence to Sparlocks is just one more reason to keep it. I was thinking of shaving it off. My wife isn't thrilled with it, tho my 8 year old g'daughter says she wants one just like it, and a white moustache too. hahaha, gotta love kids.

In the same book, go to page 159 and look at Jesus out-stretched right hand----just next to his thumb--- See the face? Very similar to some artists depiction of the Greek God Pan. I asked 2 elders who came to visit me to explain these. Uhhh, Ummm: 'strange phnomena.....possible misprints' and why are they in several editions when they could have been editied out......duh.

Watchtower Society - Your Reputation Has Been Permanently Damaged

a jury has determined that the watchtower society is responsible for allowing child abuse to occur within its ranks.

this won't change, even if the case is later dismissed on a legal technicality.. the public is beginning to lump them in the same category as the catholic church and other institutions that are more concerned about their own reputation than the protection of children.. their "spiritual paradise" has been revealed to be a fraud.

their members can't feel safe in their organization.

Our responsibility is to keep the ball rolling. Any publicity that we can give this case to keep it in the publics eye and mind may help others find the courage to come forward and tell their stories as well as putting the WTB&TS clearly deeper into their own cesspool of shame. There is no such thing as bad publicity on this disgusting situation....emails, letters to the editors of smaller newspapers, radio talk shows, contacts with local TV station requesting they run the story. Just keep it going.

I too, wonder how the publishers will respond to the irrate hoseholder or two (hopefully more) they may meet.......being in total ignorance, they will find,is not bliss.
