  to me honestly this would of been prohibited 10 years ago, but now every dub is obsessed with this website, it's everywhere even a damn iphone cover... ooh they don't approve of idolatry ooh no they don't accept cross veneration thats bullshit to me!!!

  its getting to a point that they are venerating this website (company logo) it's their version of the cross.

  "Don't challenge Satan!"

  was this one of those jw urban legends at every hall?.

  when i was 7 years old and began attending meetings, one of the first things i heard people say was "don't challenge satan!",.

  i thought, 'what would happen if i challenged satan?

  I remember the Edubs saying when you pray to God don't pray out load because Satan will hear you, you must pray quietly to God. Satan can challenge your request and screw up your plans. That was kind of creepy, the thought that Satan was so powerful he would be in my bedroom listening to my private prayers to god.

  I never challenged Satan didn't seem like a good idea at the time, now, well there a lot of residual indoctrination that I'm still trying to undo and messing with the occult still freaks me out. I remember telling people I studied with "The devil's greatest lie, is convincing people he doesn't exist" Crazy sh!t wish I was making this stuff up.

  You guys are hilarious. You have no idea about business/religion infrastructure. Once an entity gains momentum it then becomes its own entity through momentum. The org has plenty of momentum to last another 100 years plus.

  Yes it has problems, doesn't every person, business or religion. With the recent downsizing, restructuring and tightening up on spending they secure themselves for battles to come. Get used to it. The org is not going anywhere.

  
  

  MMAUBI agree with your assessment on the Org., It is responding like a business, restructuring , downsizing and lower its operating cost. That's exactly the problem with the organization its acting like every other religion and business, why would you devote your mind and life to man made business? It uses religious mandates to control you but at the end of the day still a business. I would expect a lot more from Gods true organization on earth, don't you agree?   "i have been studying the bible for almost 20 years....after graduating in history and science comparing to the the bible, i have have come to to the conclusion that the bible cannot give you any reason to believe in it at all.

  If the bible was god true communication with mankind, then it turned out to be very ineffective means to communicate. Primitive email is much more effective, design by mere imperfect man. This website is more effective then Gods means to communicate.

  Then, theirs all the confusion regarding this 'life saving message'. Currently there exists over 45,000 Christian denominations that profess they hold the truth. This is just Christians who hold the same belief that Christ is their messiah. Why so much confusion?

  Then theirs the evidence of the written word, was it by man? or God? Looks more like a message to control man, a lot of arbitrary laws designed to keep the upper echelon in control of the common folk and the slaves. If you notice the rich upper class can beat there slaves,' just don't kill them', have multiple wives (adultery, ok'd by god), commit atrocities against there neighbors ( ok'd, by the big guy) take there wives and daughters as slaves, rape, theft and murder. Not called that in the bible, it was a Holy decree to rid the land of unbelievers. Sound familiar, ISIS is still using that very same decree.

  was a man made date when jesus came and that a generation is not 102 plus years.. why not say something like this.when the disciples asked jesus for a sign and the end of the age.jesus gave them a composite sign and said all these things will take place.when-before the people now living(at the end of the age which no one knows)have all died..

  If they came clean it would be like the 'guards giving the prisoners the keys to the asylum and letting them free'.

  They have to many projects and lawsuits going to remove the shackles from there captives, does not make good business sense. You do know it's a business don't you?

  1) Number one has to be Internet (Google's killing them)

  2) Education / science, We can now explain what was at one time attributed to gods wrath: Lightning, earthquakes, solar eclipse, etc.

  3) WT History (Lies, lies and more lies, throw in some failed prophecy's and you have a cult.)
  

  4) Lawsuits (money & bad publicity)

  Toasting is Pagan - How many contradictions can fit in 2 pages, I found 5?

  the watchtower 2007 feb 15 pp.30-31 explains why jehovah's witnesses are not to toast.

  what is astounding is that for each point they then go on an explain why the point is irrelevant, yet still conclude toasting is wrong.

  what did people think when reading this?
