I feel many people refuse to believe in the bible out of fear.

Lol, really, people need to believe in it because of fear. Fear of non-existance.
I wish Jesus as you see him was true, that'd be very nice.
So, what you're saying is my archaeology professor believed in Early Hominids because of fear?

i don't know why we sometimes have trouble expecting there will be 'nu lite', apparently all religions have been getting it since the start of time.
History shows that any religion that refuses to change dies out

for me .... 1).
last district convention after having 'read up' (took some family to it).. 2).
last 'meeting' to watch step-father-in-law finally get his and get disfellowshipped for molestation.. ...both were taking vodka shots in the bathroom.. i'm sure there's lots of good stories out there..
I quit both too, Comatose.
I often think back to that day when I was drinking at the last DC and realize the snapshot caption would be: One problem down, one to go.

Thanks for sharing. I agree with you on the silent fade.
I ran into an old friend recently that had the short term triumph of telling off an elder. That was years ago he said... still disfellowshipped. All his family in it... the consequences have lasted for years. Probably not worth it for most people.
