Objective historical evidence points to the past, however, historical reality would point to the here and now. Another prophetic fulfillment to look out for, is this one. I believe the first few trumpets of Revelation point to man's destructive activities on the earth. E.g., the Fukushima reactors are pouring radioactive poison into the Pacific Ocean at an alarming rate, on their way to poison the West Coast of the United States. Unfortunately all the oceans are connected, so these are going to poison all the oceans of the earth if not capped (cf. Rev. 8:7-13; cf. 11:18). I know, a little imagination is needed here, but it is accurate nonetheless. We'll see, my favorite saying: "Time will tell."

Yes, Disarmed, it seems that that is what is going to happen. Everything in mounting up and I expect some spectacular things to happen this year already. That’s enough for me to believe. Cofty, if you see the following things happening, exactly as prophesied, would you then believe?
Prophecy:
Daniel warned of an impending “great tribulation” (Dan. 12:1). Jesus also referred to the Great Tribulation. If the days were not cut short, no flesh would be saved (Matt. 24:21, 22; Mark 13:20). Haggai warns: “Moreover, the LORD who rules over all says: ‘In just a little while I will once again shake the sky[1] and the earth, the sea and the dry ground’” (Hag. 2:6 NET; cf. Hebr. 12:26-29).
Luke (21:25, 26 NET) gives us an idea of what’s in store: “And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth nations will be in distress, anxious over the roaring of the sea and the surging waves. People will be fainting from fear and from the expectation of what is coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” The opening of the sixth seal in the book of Revelation adds the necessary detail:
Then I looked when the Lamb opened the sixth seal, and a huge earthquake[2] took place; the sun became as black as sackcloth made of hair, and the full moon became blood red; and the stars[3] in the sky fell to the earth like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when shaken by a fierce wind. The sky was split apart like a scroll being rolled up[4], and every mountain and island was moved from its place.[5]
Then the kings of the earth, the very important people, the generals, the rich, the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who is seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?”[6] Rev. 6:12-17 NET.
Evidence:

4) Poleshift: Recent changes in magnetic north. Magnetic north use to move 15 km/year. Now it does 15 km per day. For those that notice such things, sun is not coming up where it use to. The earth is 25 degrees or more out of kilter.
5) Climate change: This is not only occurring on earth only but to all the planets in our solar system.
6) Major underground shelters for the elite, especially in Europe, Russia and USA.

WhatshallIcallmyself, and the planets orbits that are out of sync. This has been known since the 18th century. Shall we ignore those calculations? What's pulling them out of their orbits? Planets in our solar system increasing in temperature, e.g., Mars, Venus. Changes in appearance of the sun, things like coronal holes appearing. Yes, you're right, lots of evidence. It all depends on what we make of it. And yes, if we knew what was really going on, we would be concentrating on survival. The economy would suffer as a result. Good reason why the authorities would want to keep a lid on things. Nevertheless, time will tell. The predictions are, we are in for a bumpy ride in 2017. Well, here we are. Let's wait and see.

Konceptual99, bottom line is, it has to do with our sun. When our sun gets hotter we get hotter, and all the planets in our solar system get hotter. If we are part of a binary solar system, i.e., a solar system with two suns, and the extra sun comes round and adds its weight, things are going to heat up. So, in the end, nothing to do with man-made "climate change," all to do with our sun. Geographic article calls it our sun's evil twin. By the way, approximately 80% of observable solar systems are of the binary kind.

Just to repeat, often when the subject of a binary sun and accompanying planets are mentioned, either aliens or Biblical predictions are brought into the discussion. Lets ignore all that and just stick to the astronomical facts.
At the edge of our solar system is the Kuiper belt, a repository of comets. As the Geographic video illustrated, if a big object, e.g., planet or red dwarf passed through it, it would dislodge some of those rocks and comets and send them our way. The documentary indicated a 400% increase of comet hits the last 3 or 4 years.
Another worrying thing is NASA, with all its telescopes and equipment, missed the huge comet, hitting Russia, mentioned by DD. If they can miss one, they can miss others. In addition, there were recent documented sightings of fly bys of things that look like comets. If they were seen, then they were close. And if they were close this time round, next time round would cause a direct hit. In any event, we should buckle up. All indications point to 2017 being a rough ride alongside the extremes in weather we've been having.

If you do live in the USA, you will be able to find out about the reports of the underground highways and cities. And just a day before 911, Donald Rumpsfeld asked what happened to the trillions of missing Dollars. Look it up. Laughable, I think not. Lot of evidence there, some of it is true, some doubtful, some false, one has got to sift through it. The documentary also mention the Antarctic telescope SPT (infra red telescope). However, I believe, where there is smoke, there is fire.

From a reliable source: First talk was the WatchTower discussion with children. Second talk was about personal testimonies. A person was in jail, and now he's a good JW - type of thing, examples from every-day life. Third talk would have been interesting to listen to. The English brother went into detail about the different forms of leprosy. The leprous man told Jesus: "If you want to, you can heal me." And Jesus said: "I want to." Not sure about the connection, but he then started discussing the GB. Sounds to me he was comparing the work of the GB with that of Jesus. Not sure about that though. Are the GB having an identity crisis? The more it they mention themselves and their role, the more it must be true. Overall it would have been a most "happifying" occasion.
