the article says in part the following.. 'the scientific consensus that humans are altering the climate has passed 99.9%, according to research that strengthens the case for global action at the cop26 summit in glasgow.. the degree of scientific certainty about the impact of greenhouse gases is now similar to the level of agreement on evolution and plate tectonics, the authors say, based on a survey of nearly 90,000 climate-related studies.
this means there is practically no doubt among experts that burning fossil fuels, such as oil, gas, coal, peat and trees, is heating the planet and causing more extreme weather.. a previous survey in 2013 showed 97% of studies published between 1991 and 2012 supported the idea that human activities are altering earth’s climate.. this has been updated and expanded by the study by cornell university that shows the tiny minority of sceptical voices has diminished to almost nothing as evidence mounts of the link between fossil-fuel burning and climate disruption.. the latest survey of peer-reviewed literature published from 2012 to november 2020 was conducted in two stages.

Earnest, thanks for correcting me. Actually it's a "tale of two cities." I thought the photos (p. 10 & 13) portray the same scene. Actually the set on page 10 is French private company that went bust. The logo on the car door pointed me to Wikipedia, to "Autolib." 25 of their cas burnt out while charging. Tesla has a similar problem. Not sure whether that caused them to go bust. The article doesn't say.
Rivergang, I think you are splitting hairs. I hope you took note of the rest of the video. It woke me up.
Disillusioned JW, glad to be of service. Hope you wake up in time though. Bill Gates is not your friend. Take note of the new video "Died Suddenly," very illuminating.
recall the famous charge made against jesus in his trial in the gospel mark: .
“we heard him say, ‘i will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days i will build another, not made with hands.’”.
matt has a shorter version which likely reflects what he saw in his copy of mark:.
Peacefulpete, sounds more like connectivity problems somewhere along the line.
Here's my take on the rebuilding of the temple, not literal, but figurative.
God’s new nation as His earthly temple: In the NT the new temple arrangement is God’s nation, the Israel of God (Gal. 6:15, 16; cf. 1 Cor. 3:16, 17; 2 Cor. 6:16; Eph. 2:21, 22). Jesus is the cornerstone. The apostles make up the foundation (Eph. 2:20; 1 Pet. 2:6). God keeps the temple sanctuary for Himself and intact. He allows John to measure it, meaning He will be preserving the majority of His people alive through the Tribulation. Support for this view comes from the editors of EDNT: “The instruction to the seer to measure the temple, the altar of burnt offerings and those who worship there, but not the court outside the temple (Rev. 11:1), is to be interpreted in an ecclesiological context: The Church will be preserved in the general destruction” (Rev. 7:9, 14; 11:1). The outer courtyard is to be trampled by the nations for 42 months (Rev. 11:2). This is the location of the dining rooms of the priests (Ezek. 42:1; cf. 1 Pet. 2:5). This points to the persecution of the leadership of the Israel of God during the second half of the Tribulation (Rev. 7:3, 4, 7; cf. Zech. 12:2, 3; 14:1-3).

Lots to refute today. Seven out of ten wind turbines are made in China. China manufactures approximately 90% of the world's solar panels. Yet China uses only coal power to produce them. Renewable energy is not cheaper than gas, coal or oil. Lifespan of solar panel, 25-30 years. Lifespan of wind turbine, 17 years. Similar to lithium batteries, this is not sustainable.
Wonderful thing about the cars. They are still there for you to check, like a monument.
So, our future certainly looks bleak. Huge junk piles, open strips of land (post-mining) and lots of toxic waste. Luckily over-population will be addressed. Not all will survive.

Rivergang, I heard it from the head of a UN study group (Skye Australia). I'll see if I can find the video. I can vouch for that. I live in the Southern Hemisphere next to the sea. Where we are, no change in sea level for over a hundred years.

Courtesy of Dr. Matthew M. Wielicki, Climatologist:
For those that are gluttons for punishment, here's a study, concluding "that changes in atmospheric CO2 concentration did not cause temperature change in the ancient climate:
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/320123470_The_Relationship_between_Atmospheric_Carbon_Dioxide_Concentration_and_Global_Temperature_for_the_Last_425_Million_Years
Let's start with sea level.
The geologic record has many instances where CO2 and Temperature (T) are uncoupled, for example the Andean-Saharan glaciation, thus we shouldn't have any certain expectation of a measured response in T to lowering CO2.
Atmospheric CO2 concentration has varied from 200 - 7000 parts per million (ppm) or 40x. The percentage range from 0.02% - 0,7%. The planet did just fine at these levels. Low CO2 is more dangerous than high CO2.
Last but not least is heat absorbtion of CO2. The higher concentration of CO2, the less heat absorbtion takes place:

Sorry, I had it wrong. On the wall it says: "Center for Global Human Population Reduction." Or it is helluva good Photoshop, which I doubt. I was close though. In the end it boils down to the same thing. In Kenia they distributed a vaccine against tetanus. Interestingly, most of the girls that had received the vaccine are either sterile or abort their fetuses. Read up on it. It's well documented. The m-RNA vaccines also cause infertility ans stillborn births. It is also well documented.

Joey jojo,
I am with you on the rising of the sea. Melting ice will not influence sea levels. If you read carefully, you'll see I was referring to past predictions that have failed. Sea levels are in actual fact rising a millimetre or so per year in the northern hemisphere and not at all in the southern hemisphere.
Disillusioned JW,
Let me begin at the beginning. I wish I had vested interests in the oil industry, then today I would have been able to retire in style. Well, seeing that we are busy with motive, let's carry on from there. Did you know oil is not a "fossil fuel"? Oil is the second most plentiful liquid on earth today (after water). Here's a very informative video on the subject to give some perspective:
https://twitter.com/TedPete92938863/status/1572038007980716033?s=20&t=V7PCJdlWtnVkZcTIAp-c_w
That Bill Gates wants to depopulate the planet is a fact. He said so himself. His Foundation was once called the "Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population Control."
What would transport mean in a Net Zero environment? Electric vehicles? Let's look at the sustainability of electric cars. The French government bought all these electric cars for their government departments. When it was time to replace the batteries they realized it was too expensive. No landfill would except them, so there they are.
To make a typical electric car battery you need:
25 pounds of lithium
60 pounds of nickel
44 pounds of manganese
30 pounds of cobalt
200 pounds of copper
400 pounds of aluminum, steel and plastic
Very expensive. Not sustainable at all.
Let's go to "the narrative." As a scientist, if you do not follow a certain narrative, will you really think the person will receive grants or be appointed to work at a prestigious university? Two additional examples come to mind. If you are a creationist (anti-evolution) or believe that the book of Daniel was written in the time of the Babylonians you will struggle to get work in most universities or seminaries? If you are against m-RNA gene therappy will you be able to find work at a university hospital? All these are heavily sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry, especially Pfizer.
Back to sea ice. As you might have noticed from the graphs, there's certain fluctuations. The sea ice deteriorated for the last few decades, but is now picking up again. Nothing out of the ordinary. So what happened? Nature is following its course irrespective of man's activities. CO2 has nothing to do with it.
