I saw on local channel the other day"yet another use for Duck Tape-to remove warts." seems some substance in the tape dissovles the wart. they did not say exactly how long it should remain on etc,but found that interesting.

"if they have evidence,,," that is the problem-so often there is no evidence and with the 2 witness rule there will never be any witness to it. A lot of the victims block the horrible crime until they are much older.
From personal experience i was both molested by my father and could not remember it until he was dying and i felt safe. i was raped by and brother and the elders saw fit to d/f me and left him in good standing. Also i was told not to report to police. So what did this man do? Raped another young woman.
The wts policy with handling CRIMES is dispecible.

it has been settled for some time .Dragon is right, sometimes people just like to talk.
i am so grateful for your web site-yesterday i had the courage to identify my abuser. I never thought i would see the day when i could do that. Somehow the WTBS has to change its policy on how they deal with persons who commit CRIMES.It will probably have to hit them in the pocket book before they do, but they have to see they are hurting children. Thank u for helping all those abused to regain some of their life.

I wondered too, how someone smart enough to do what the snipper did without being caught could fall for the oldest trick in the book-appeal to his vanity. But he was an american-i know they said he converted to islam but still american. The terriorists of 9/11 don't seem so swayed by vanity. Theirs is a religious cause, and they are willing to die for it. it's hard to beat someone who is willing to die for a belief. like trying to reason with a JW about taking blood when their life is at stake. They just dig their heels in. Their death has become holy.
I know there has been a lot of talk about racial profiling and all. But i tell u, my first therapist was from Iran and he openly told me that the islamic people were a violent people. He said he still beleived in allyuah(ex my spelling) but he would have no part in their religion due to its violence. This man had escaped Iran during the shaw's rule. He was the kindest , most gentle person i have ever known.

While our previous conversation was remembered differently in certain areas we agreed that we should be peaceful with one another, I apologized for any misunderstanding and decided as a result to remove any negative comments made about him. I do believe our discussion was productive and will help us both to be more supportive of one another in the future. Ray is a good man and I certainly appreciate the effort he has put forth to help so many.Is Ray great or what?

I know i remember reading a post form Bill saying he and Ray had talked and worked this out. Has another accusation ben made ? Why did Ray feel the need to commincate that post through amazing-has something else occured? I read the board nearly everday and i thought this had been sort of settled.
Regarding my prior post, I respect Ray a lot and i too am grateful he has not started a movement against jw-he did quite a lot with writing his books. however, Bill has soemthing to say and someone needed to speak for all the children and woman who have been abused. I support his premice- force the WT to change it's policy on how they deal with CRIME.Just as Ray wrote a book and exposed the WTS for many things-so Bill is exposing their policy of dealing with CRIMES commited by people who are jw's.

I reread the post and it does seem to say that Ray is saying that he does not believe that such things existed years ago-same as he didn't believe the homosexual thing existed years ago. We all know it did-they just stayed in hiding. Same with child and spouse and women abuse. it has always existed-people just didn't feel it was something they should get involved in. It was an accepted thing many years ago for children to be beat, women too. Today there is much focus on these things. I think mr. Fanz may have beeen in bethel too long and not out in the real world.
