Forum participation is culturally influenced. In my opinion most minorities members don’t like to be in the bright spot, when found in ‘different’ large group.
Participants on this forum seem to be mostly persons that had some real problems with the jw group, want to help or are healing.

I am having a hard time trying to reconciliate the three quoted comments below (and the topic itself too). What is the reason or motive for the first two quoted comments, coming from the same individual.

Some may not YET be educated on the matter to be able to resist family/group pressure. It really may be an SLOW proccess Despite the fact (back to the topic) that the jw religion has no scriptural foundation. It is ok to join or stay as long as it does not hurt. Then again you may be getting hurt, irreparble injuries caused and not being aware. People get used to routines, and if part of the routine is struggling to make a living, what time, will power and energy is left?
Many have left because of the "coherent scheme of doctrine" made no sense, they are those who dedicated some time an energy to think about it.

2.- What about if someone offer you 100 million to speed up the "slowly" process? What about SIX MONTH... (if that much time reminds you about anything).

Really, many jw just dont have what it takes to move on.
The excuse about impact on family and friends relations is becoming an worn out excuse.
If to the same person you offer 100 million dollar to leave the jw, would they think twice?
Being true to yourself is worth.. how much did you say?
No one would eat garbage and waste time walking around in circle just because his/her relatives are crazy and lthey like to do so and if stop doing that...
Give me a break.!
