I dont buy the suggestion from the the so called expert from IBM
CD-R, back up has always been a concern for me.
so, i try to keep everthing in a single hard disk,
have a second hard disk (mirror)
then make cd-r backup every so often,
...you can make copies of your CD-R once you feel they are "old"

He recommend tapes, i hate.them.
WT might be right, as they once mentioned, paper last and last.
Problem is storing space and searching methods.
HOld it... The writer failed to mention what might be the solution from the same company, ibm, nanotechnology.

in a piece of "plastic" the size of a finger nail you can store the equivalente to 25 million text pages
like the subject title says, i'm hurt, desperate and confused and don't know what to do anymore.
i'm so desperate to have something to live for that i'm considering converting to something like the jehovah's witnesses.

problems if you join the religion
At first you'll have friends, some very nice.
But if for ANY reason you decide to leave the religion, none of those jw "friends" 'will even say hello to you.
If family member become jw, they won't talk to you either.

A "group" may come up with the idea of breaking down the same data (quotes) into multiple pieces.
create multiple websites, in different countries, registered to "different" persons
or use existing websites even if the main purpose of the site is other than wt related

technically easy to accomplish, but legally very difficult, if not impossible, to stop
there are many here who have been shunned or dis-owned by family members who are jehovah's witnesses.
the pain, hurt and agony over this treatment wreaks havock in our lives and at times to the point of being unbearable.
after much deliberation and thought i came to the conclusion that for me to be able to "move on" in my own life i needed to express my feelings and be heard on some level by my family.
i would like to know specifically why the wt is not consistant with the shunning rule,
why don't they advice the "faithfull" jw mate to leave the husband/wife?
the faithfull now has a religious excuse, the state have no jurisdiction on the religious matter, the couple is not even compatible anymore

regarding blood it just happened that detailed legal stuff has been published, blood is more emotional , urgent and dramatic
but even if wt mirepresented the facts etc it still is a religious doctrine... imo jw reject blood mainly becase they beleive the bible says so,
dangers, risk of HIV etc etc just confirm their belief.
