It has been shown clearly that humans are the ones that spread out from the "fertile crescent" and not the water.
real stories can travel futher than water, some understimated the traveling and ocean cruising capacity of people living thousand of years ago.
figure the volume of ark required to contain even pairs of all the types of animals in the world.
does it match the "ark" dimensions stated in the bible?

I do agree tho that for ararat to be covered in water would take a global deluge as described in the bible
why?
a lot of posters on this board have expressed the opinion that religion is the reason for many wars.
some have even implied that if religion was "banned" the number of wars would be reduced.

within the past week or so i replied to a topic stating that poliiticians (could apply to any era) do not beleive in religion but utilize it, it is a tool to keep them in power, not the other way around.
Politicians fully understand human nature, so not even atheist "states" (politicians) made an all out effort to eliminate religions, they did try to use other motivations and incentives to get cooperation from the people, trying to minimize the use (tool) of religion. Even those states find difficult (impossible?) and counterproductive to totally eliminate religions.

FDS as institution depends on the 1914 doctrine (2520 years - 1914 = 607 BCE no counting year 0 etc)
Those who know better at Brooklyn dont do it now because
a)
the GB/FDS (mainly old members) members are still in power over the corporations and legal dept,
b)
out of respect and fear that they all GB and FDS collectively die of a heart attack. Really actually they will let them go (die) in peace, instead of great shame..
c)
religions can not make major changes without causing trauma to members, too many other implications.
Younger GB members can take the blow or are ready and waiting for the change, new light, at the right time.

My question is related to the fact that people beleive (as a kid i did) that if an "ark" is found let's say on top of the mountain Ararat, THAT would be evidence of a GLOBAL flood.
As far as I remember WT claimed that Sea vegetation, sea animal or "fish" have been found frozen in high mountains.
So what?l
The evidence and potential evidence mentioned above is placed next to the notion (unfounded?)
that for the Ararat, as tall as it is, to be covered by water it has to be cuased by GLOBAL flood.

ok, probably i was thinking 40000 kilometers, anyway the "grain of salt" used in the compartive example stil is no more than 200 micrometer.
well i should say smooth... there are no such a thing as "high" mountains or peaks,
no matter how high you climb, (less than 10000 meters or about less than 6 miles) , you wont see anything 200 miles away,... horizon..

Ararat is not as 'tall" as Everest.
In the previous topic i mentioned that, the Everest "peak", less than 6 miles tall, on "top" of the Earth (40000 miles circumference) should look similar to a
grain of salt less than 200 micrometers tall (if you can SEE it) on "top" of a basketball. (30 inch circumference)
I did not reviewed the math but i think it should be 100 micrometers instead of 200, round numbers.
Does a "global" flood can be "proved" by finding the "ark" or some frozen fisth on top of the Ararat?
or by the "fact" that people all around the "globe" have an interesting story about a flood?
It seems like both question can be answered and explained without affirming a "global" flood.
What do you say?
