  For those who like to feel the paper in their hands a solution may be what i call "refill" their reusable OLED "paper", a sheet of plastic full of "organic light emitting diodes", you coul download delete/refill to the "plastic" from a pc or a refill station. Dow Chemicals, i beleive, is heavily working on that. Actually it will be a flexible, customized dimension (sheet cut to the size you prefer) pc/tv screen

  Just about anything printed on paper is a waste of all kind of resources, anacronic.

  I even feel bad and frustrated when forced to send letters and documents via USPS, when there is a much faster and cheaper solution.

  How does one evaluate LtCorso and others of the highest possible military rank in Britain, the US, Russia and elsewhere swearing on oath that they believed things beyond the military's present capability are flying about our little planet?

  It's kinda funny how Carl Sagan tried to deny any possibility that we have been "visited" yet, was at the forefront of spending billions on the seti program.

  from your parents when you got home from service?

  for me it was, "did you place today?

  " pretty much sums up what service is about for most witnesses... i always prefered a good conversation, even at a young age... but the pat on the back always came from making placements... especially if it was a book!.

  It was mostly about statistics, as you know everyone has to show/report numbers at the end of the month.

  Like any sales employee you had to show you were "selling" 10 mag per month, pioneers 100 to 150 per month.

  Pioneers were something else, selling books and magazines at a 500 percent profit, can you beleive that?

  they were hi up in the pyramid, main recruiters so theywere entitled to some more profit , as an incentive, It was their salary anyway.

  Why dont wt publish everything offered to the public on the net now?

  Research Study Proposal: Cults and Psych Disorders

  i know i haven't been around for awhile, but a main reason is that i'm going to school for my psych degree and it's a lot of work.

  that being said, i have the opportunity to do some undergrad research work funded by washington state university.

  i have to submit a proposal and if it's accepted they'll fund my work to a limited amount.

  My question, before I delve into this headfirst, is who would be willing to go to a website and fill out an anonymous but highly personal questionnaire about mental health, length of time as a dub, etc.?

  What about those still inside the "cult", how are you going to find out about how they feel.

  How are you going to determine if the illnes was caused by the religion or cult or something else.

  I think that cults are just a magnet for people who are already "confused" to say the least.

  i've seen a few other ones but this one seems to be the most active.

  by far the most interesting and diverse.. there's another one out there on e-watchman but found that one to be quite cheezy.

  when i was a teenager, my father built a wall in the hallway of our house so that he would not have to have anything to to with me.

  i had to do dishes in the bathroom sink and cook on a hotplate.

  i never knew why he did this.

  I have observed that many "weird" things jw do is just because they had the tendency or were weird even before become wt.

  Weird people join jw religion becasue the group gives them some playground, not easily available somewhere else.

  As jw they can speak and be heard even if a minor participation at meetings etc

  Male weird people may even become elders if they dont initially reflect how weird they are.,

  there is no big difference in the number of weird people out or inside the jw religion, in fact i have seen more weird people in many other apocaliptic religions, that's for sure.

  You have to see those weird religous when they meet and get the "spirit", some even jump like crazy, i have never seen that in the jw religion.
