  CARC/ Australian Royal Commission into Institutional Reaction to Child Abuse. It was initially referred to as ARC or Australian Royal Commission but there were other commissions of inquiry going on so it was referred to as the C as Child to separate it.

  The executive were the wt officials who were called to appear before the commission to explain the wt manner of dealing with Child abuse within the Jehovahs witness organisation .

  Once again the men in suits have snowballed the men in government.

  On being told the wt ordered the destruction of case notes the HRC should have immediately requested Police in all states to raid elders for notes.

  i have been reading the publications of the wts since i was 6, 60 years now.

  we were too poor to have more than one subscription for each magazine so i had to wait until my mother had read it (she let them pile up).

  Brilliant expose Blondie. I have noticed down the years where they would use made up words, cant recall any but there were and to look them up in dictionary is to find them not there. Surely the mark of the ill-educated (!) and socially ignorant.

  I hold a fear that the wt if finally pushed into a corner and made to face its monstrous history it will invoke some social outrage that will bring the wrath of governments down onto the witnesses and of course it will be the r&f poor mug average jw that will cop it. Not as you said of Rutherford during the rise of Hitler safely ensconced away in his case the broader USA or today in their Walkill 'monastery'.

  The circumstances required my being brief but I highlighted the way the executive twisted words and accepted meanings while they came on all self righteous and were "the least prepared of any group facing the commission."..(the justice) and that I had phoned the CARC to correct the machinations and was well received by a counsellor there who relayed to me that "We have had so many phone calls" (from ex JW). Also I underlined my interest being formed by my own kids being abused.
  

  I am sure he is a very busy man perhaps too busy to look up the CARC footage but he has now a different aspect to the wt other than the love and roses the wt puts out.

  i'm not a jw, nor was i raised jw.

  for the past three years i have been involved with a man who was raised jw, who at first told me he no longer believed as they did, but who, it has become clear over time, has not told his family or religious community the truth.

  he has strung me along for years, never introduced me to anyone in his life.

  a month ago i was reinstated as a jehovah’s witness.

  he was not disfellowshipped.

  in my meeting i was told that i could not become involved with the man that i committed a sin with, which is adultery once i’m reinstated.

  Did you say he has not contacted you in 5 months? He isnt showing much in the way of affection.

  Please find a counsellor to discuss your situation with and ensure the counsellor is experienced with sects. There is a belief among some counsellors and mental health professionals that the wt is just another church.. it isnt.
