I want to ask all JW's here some question and you guys who's quit to worship Jehovah--
If you don't mind, I wanna ask this, Why did you quit? Is it just because of that pagan belief's, tired of going door to door convincing other's, is their something behind this religion that we should know? (since i'm new here haven't read some post regarding about JW's) is it because if ever you quit they'll avoid you and consider you as 'sinner'? or is there some serious reason why you quit? (sorry im slow =/ )

You guys are JW's before right? Then u quit? @scenicviewer I like your reason why we should not consider them just because their nice and I can say 'yes its true' even if I'm not yet a JWs that its a very controlling religion..
But still, I really want to listen to them, even my mom disagree of having a bible study with them I still entertained them every week because I don't want to judge them coz' of what I've heard (not good) about JW's. The more you criticized them, the more I want to know JW's! XD

(some of these things vary by where you live, in other places dubs have them, it just depends).
obviously the list goes on forever, but feel free to add things.

I thought this is JW's site, i guess not =P even so, i really want to learn what is right. I'm not comparing my 'since birth religion' to JW's BUT i really want to learn. I like their way in praising Jehovah God but I think they over understood what in written in the bible ( is my english right? xD sorry ) that' what I think. They promote deep understading of the bible which is not GOOD! =)

What makes me listen and willing to learn about what JWs teaches is that they are all kind. I'm not saying their super kind, perfect but as I observerd compared to other belief's or religion's their in. That's why I want to know what the bible really teaches. What bother's me is their does and don't,i mean they don't celebrate birtday, christmas etc. I dunno how to adjust myself. That's why I'm really asking them big "WHY" their not celebrating it, then their going to read some text in the Bible but for me it doesn't convince me hundred percent. Gimme advices please im confused!

I think there's nothing wrong in celebrating birthday since where thanking God for another year he had given. In the day of our birth were not calling or thinking bad thing when we celebrate it we THANK GOD! ( no offend to all JWs, i just want to know more about what your teaching =) So, that is their basis why they don't celebrate birthday? Is that all? so, there's no text in the bible that warn or forbid us to celebrate birthdays right?

Really? Is that all? Are JWs obliged to contribute money to the Watchtower? I haven't heard that my JW's friends who's teaching or doing bible study with me yet I haven't ask them about it. So does it mean the bible has not said not to celebrate birthday? sorry im not good in english XD

Do you believe in hell? Why or Why not?

i believe that hell is separation from god, not being able to benefit from his protection and loving guidance.
i don't know if i believe in a fiery hell.. .

I don't believe in hell, the Father can't do such thing to suffer us.. Anyways, Hi all JWs, im new here =) but im not a JWs just want to learn the Bible and what does it really teaches!
