Yes, I have to say the expression on his face said it all.
Ray Franz talked about the "velvet glove over an iron fist", but here the velvet glove slipped off for a moment.
This is the true heart of the Organization.
what i don’t get, is the agression seen in the latest, september broadcasting.. if something is not usefull here at g.’s home, we look if it can be used for an other purpose or store it or put it away in a trash bin.
that’s what we learn our children.. it seems that for jw.org officials it is practice to get very angry and smash items on the floor.
somehow the real face of brotherhood is showed here.

i did my own extensive research as i was getting out, and by exploring actual changes and mentions of core doctrine, i learned how it came about that the gb teach that only they know the truth and only they get holy spirit.
i was checking if jwfacts had it, and although they mention many older articles, it seems they didn't realize they taught there was no holy spirit.
this was a real big eye opener for me, so thought i'd share it, and curious if any of you knew about this yourselves????.
Rutherford said that the holy spirit did not direct the organization. Maybe we should take him at his word.
it was shocking.. all these years later, i found myself crying for the dead for the first time..
That day I truly thought that it was a precursor that would lead to the Great Tribulation. The first domino had fallen, which would like to more, and then bam...governments would band together and outlaw religion.
i had two episodes of visiting exjw websites:one time around 2007 when i just googled "jehovah´s witnesses" and dared to look at those sites.
i was scared and i promised myself i would never come back to them.
however, that one didn´t really count.the moment that woke me up was this:i got to know that whitney heichel was a jw and murdered by another jw, because i overheard that conversation in a kingdom hall.i looked up the news and in one of the news comments, there was one where an exjw was complaining that they were hijacking her funeral and they were really trying to downplay the fact that her murderer was a jw... and then it said "visit jwfacts.com"... which i did.and the rest... is history.what exactly got you onto an apostate website when you woke up?
I happened upon Danny Hazzard's site and Rick Fearon's. I thought they were crazy. Still do. It didn't help me to wake up...just the opposite.
But I would say this website was the first one I considered. I was trying to verify information in the October 2011 Watchtower about 607 BC. And this discussion was going on at the time about that very subject. I wanted to avoid "apostate" information to the best I could. So when I did start reading the discussion, I read it with skepticism. I assumed I would have to weed out misinformation and half-truths, but over a few weeks, it became apparent that Watchtower was not only wrong, but were the ones being deceptive.
It took time to understand things like what "lunar threes" were and other technicalities, but the skycart someone posted of "Saturn in the Swallow" on VAT4956 sealed the deal.
Back then, I feel there was more in-depth posting and less foaming at the mouth, especially politically. That stuff would have scared me off back then.
will you avoid nike or tend to not buy apparel because of their support of colin kap?
would you stop doing business with anyone simply because you disagree with their politics?
in california, in and out burger, democrats were being told not to support the chain because they donated to republicans.. will politics affect your spending habits?.
Oh...open a can of worms, eh? LOL. Fair enough.
Basically it portrayed gun control as anti-gun. It lacked the nuance in understanding the other side.
But I enjoyed the series nonetheless. I hope there is a season 2.

I really enjoyed the Punisher series on Netflix even though I didn't agree with the underlying strawman messages at all.
the following letter was read in the congregation today.
it's for all the congregations in india.
i have pasted it as it was.
If you take into account how other denominations measure membership and apply that to the JW, I would think double would be accurate. Take in the Memorial figures, which includes the inactive or the unbaptized family members who were raised JW and attend at least that one meeting a year.
The Watchtower measure of membership is much more stringent. At minimum, a person has to report an hour (or 15 minutes for the elderly and infirm) in "field service". To be a full member, there are superstrict standards that many people have a hard time meeting. Some, like Serena Williams, float along the periphery. In other denominations, they'd be counted and there wouldn't be the high barrier keeping them from membership.

i've heard people say amway was a little culty for a business, and reminded them of jws in some ways.
i'm not familiar with amway myself, can anybody here elaborate?.
do stil in jw attend the kh when they have the above?.
some years ago it was the norm-meetings are sooooo important.
whats the position these days?
When I was a kid, I got sick. My parents said, "You'll be just as ill at home as at the meeting." So they dragged me to the meeting. They regretted doing so and decided never to do that again.
i saw a topic on another forum where a sister was supposedly carrying the mics.
i was curious if this was even possible?
is it new light or just a lie?.
If the males in the congregation are low-hour publishers or inactive, or they've gotten into trouble, say looking at pictures of nude women on the internet, they will lose their microphone privileges.
The standards are so high that Watchtower gets itself in a bind of not finding 'qualified' males.
