A real chat with my brother
by All for show inmy brother called to chat, which is shocking from the man of few words, off the cuff i let him know last weekend i learned that the outrageous socks he wears are inappropriate.
i let him know i would no longer be associating with him and the fact that he has been inactive for the past 10 years he has blood on his hands and i didnt want that dripping all over my freshly cleaned floors.
i also told him the internet was no longer naughty, but the fact that he wasn't an ms ever, showed his lack of spiritual maturity.

by Emery insyneidos posted some interesting information on reddit regarding jw.org's latest project for the upcomming 2015 memorial campaign.. for next year's 2015 memorial campaign, jw.org is producing an invitational video featuring jesus.
the video is still being filmed at the moment and i was told it was super "confidential.

What would you do?
by ctrwtf inso i travel alot for business and check into a hotel, start putting away my things and lo and behold in a bureau drawer, find a couple of wt's a couple of awake's and two tracts.
1. throw them in the trash and forget about it.
2. leave them where they lay and forget about it.. 3. leave a note for the housekeeper asking to lay off the cult recruitment.. 4. bring it to the attention of the management, and possibly get the housekeeper fired.. thanks for your input.

I would throw them in the trash.
If you're staying overnight and they happen to be back in the drawer after the room is cleaned, I would alert the management to the fact that they are paying someone to preach and proliferate WT litter-ature.

by noonehome infaders: why do we bother staying in?.
we cling to some false hope that people we love will accept us despite our not believing, even though its as much a fairytale as the dogmas based on untruths.. ive never been anything but a good friend and human being and would do anything for the people i love; i couldnt dream of shutting out someone i care about.
and its not like theyd revel in the idea of doing it either, yet its seen as not just the only choice, but also as undoubtedly the right thing to do.

My lovely wife already knows better than to try to turn me into the elders for a violation of their rules as I've told her and them, point blank, in my home, that I am through with wasting my life following them anyway.
A breach of trust between us wo uld be devastating..................................................................for her as, not having been in the work force for 15 years depending upon the Jehovah will provide as long as I stick to him mantra, she recognizes that she would be in big trouble if I withdrew my support.
The last time a couple of elders were in my home trying to corner me on some point that equates their organization beign figurtively the modern day ark and that I needed to be on board, I told them that we could talk about the bible all day long if they wanted but that I wouldn't be chastised or bullied by them in my own home and that they were not in a kingdom Hall.
